Kristina Rasband

Kristina Rasband has not only been singing, but performing all her life. She has received professional training in the Seth Riggs Speech Level Singing Technique by vocal coach Candice Nicole, who toured in the Broadway production of Les Miserables.Kristina has an extensive background in entertaining a wide range of audiences including those of television, radio, and stage. Her acting roles have included leads such as Belle in Disneys Beauty & The Beast, The Narrator in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Gabriella Montez in High School Musical, Grace in Annie, and as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Miss Rasband has performed as featured soloist in coffee houses, weddings, shopping malls, memorial services, private and corporate parties, casinos, wineries, and restaurants. Her performances have ranged from 1 hour to 4 hours in length, singing a variety in musical genres; pop, jazz, rock, big band, R&B, country, and Broadway show tunes. Kristina is also one of the lead singers in the band Guilty Conscience that performs in a wide variety of venues. Kristina has also had the opportunity to perform on cruise ships, work in the Entertainment Department for the Walt Disney Company, and now studies Broadcast Journalism at Cal State Fullerton in hopes of becoming an entertainment reporter. Kristina teaches vocal performance lessons every weekend and loves seeing the growth in her students. Kristina says that no audience is too small, nor too large. The spotlight can never be too bright. Kristina Rasband prides herself on the personal connection which she so masterfully makes with her audience by talking with them between songs, and through facial and eye expression conveying the moods of her songs. She can swing the mood of an audience like a pendulum from foot-stomping, to clapping, to feeling the highest of emotion, to bringing them to tears.
