ESTO ES ALGO DE MI PENSAMIENTO Y FORMACION ARTISTA: My band at that time was called FRACTURA , and I was the singer/composer in my band where we played extensively in California, U.S and the L.A and Hollywood area, trying to make it and get signed with my band for almost 10 years..I made a lot of connections and met a lot of artists, musicians, producers, and very important people from the music industry...I did my homework, by the time I met Brujeria I was already a young veteran in the L.A. and Hollywood music scene. There is where I met Juan Brujo, and members of Brujeria at the time...and here I am, the rest is history. I have been with BRUJERIA since 1999 recording and collaborating, but my first live appearance with the band was in 2004. I BREATH, THINK, SLEEP AND EAT, CREATIVITY, MUSIC AND SPIRITUALITY 24/7. THEY ARE THE DRIVEN FORCES IN MY LIFE!!! I grew up listening to Rock and Heavy music, and I became instantly identified with it and everything about it, so I focused in that direction. Since I can remember I wanted to sing, perform, write, and be a creative artist. I started delving deeply into it. I also wanted to do something different, unique, out of the ordinary, meaningful and be a voice for our people as a Mexican/American growing up in both cultures. I always felt that I didn't fit, I had to deal with my personal insecurities, my personal demons...I always felt the submission and discrimination. First, because of being a woman in my country. second for being Mexican/American, a minority in the U.S. and third for being different, perceiving and doing things in a different way... I always considered myself a citizen of PLANET EARTH. I started researching, reading, and listening to almost anything I could get my hands on, related to rock and metal music, it´s history, movements, musicians, images, and the variety of genres, since the beginnings of rock music to our present. I studied music 2 years at Musicians Institute in Hollywood Ca. also acting theater for 5 years composition, songwriting I like the idea of representing the stronger, powerful, fearless and mystical side of women. I think it's a fairly unexplored territory for women, to use and manipulate their voices and image in such a way. Women are more empowered now, and I like the idea of representing that strength" “You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so."
