About Asesino
Asesino is conformed by one of the founding members Dino Cazares (Fear Factory, Excruciating Terror) and former members Tony Campos (Static-X) and Emilio Marquez (Sadistic Intent) of the Mexican band Brujeria.
Often compared with their former band, due to the use of foul language and that the tracks are sung in Spanish, keeping the humorous approach to subjects such as death, perversion, violence and drugs.
Unlike Brujeria, whose style is a more moderate-paced, low-technique form of death metal, Asesino plays a very extreme and up-tempo death/grind style of heavy metal/hardcore.
asesino's second album Cristo Satanico under the label Odio Records is scheduled to be in stores in the first half of 2007, with guest appearances by Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) aka Sepulculo and Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) aka EL ODIO.
Current Line-up:
Dino Cazares aka Asesino - guitars
Tony Campos aka Maldito X - bass, vocals
Emilio Marquez aka El Sadistico - drums
Discography:
Corridos De Muerte (2002)
Cristo Satanico (TBR 2007)
