About Finding Freedom

Finding Freedom's musical output has been described as hard rock in denial, variety rock, not a wedding band rock, alternative blues rock, pirate rock, or completely genre- agnostic rock.

The FF name comes from a lyric on the opening track of their 2018 debut EP, and the first song they ever played together in 2015. The song, titled "Nowhere I Belong", says "would I really find my freedom, or is there nowhere I belong?" and speaks of everyone's journey to find freedom from what is inside them, holding them back, whether it be addiction, pride, or any other form of Resistance.

Finding Freedom has played with bands like Emery, Lee Bains and the Glory Fires, Oh Sleeper, The Veer Union, Saliva, Brother Oliver, themselves but everyone switched instruments so basically a whole different band, and more.
