What an amazing evening. Lets start this review with the venue, the location was was wonderful; looking out over beautiful countryside. The hall had the most amazing oak breams and we had a meal at Rhosygilwen which was delicious. Peggy Seeger aged 90 was superb, her stories and explanations about the songs was so wonderful and her voice was as clear as a bell. When I am 90 I hope I remember my name yet alone all the words to songs. Peggy's sons were were both excellent, their playing was delightful. Thank you Peggy.

About Peggy Seeger

“Peggy Seeger inspires hope for a world free from war, poverty and ignorance.” Arthur Scargill, leader of the Miners' Union.
“Peggy Seeger has made a great contribution not just to music but to feminism and to political activism. She’s a woman of the left and dear to my heart. She’s my heroine.” Dame Helena Kennedy QC
“I’ve been a fan of Peggy’s since I was a wee thing and both me and my family have really cherished the experience of working with her over the years and hope to for many more.” Rufus Wainwright
“This sparky woman has done so much, lived so much, crammed so much into her life. Most of all, she has informed our appreciation of British and North American folk music, like very, very few people have. Then factor in her multiple roles in illuminating the folk, political song and feminist scenes and how her songs have enriched the folk idiom, and you have somebody worth getting amazed about.” Ken Hunt, fRoots Magazine
“One of the seminal figures of the British folk revival and widely regarded as something of a firebrand.” Daily Telegraph
“A troublemaker and an icon…. ineluctable components of what defines the music that defines us.” Metroland
“There’s still plenty of the mischievous reprobate – not to mention the untamed rebel – about her.” Colin Irwin, The Guardian
“Radiant, gracious and gutsy … a truly positive force.” Karine Polwart, singer
“A vintage and unique performer, carrying a rare but still developing tradition.” Irish Times
“She must be one of the most complete artists around today.” Belfast Telegraph
“She’s a born communicator and educator, and a genuinely consummate artist (singer, songmaker, musician) of unparalleled integrity, blessed with excellent taste and judgement. A very special person…”David Kidman, Journalist
"I can’t recommend (Everything Changes) highly enough. It’s quite breath-taking and an album you simply can’t manage without.” Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2
“She’s wonderful, she’s my hero” Cerys Matthews , BBC 6Music broadcaster and singer
