Michael W. Smith

I really enjoyed the experience with Michael W. Smith. He is such a talented and genuine individual who gives all the glory to God. MWS was instrumental to my introduction to "contemporary music." When I was younger, his music moved my heart to a deeper appreciation of my relationship with my Lord and Savior. I am appreciative that he allowed his audience to experience both his new songs and the older songs. Singing the older songs at the concert was deeply emotional for me and brought me back in time. The simple truth-telling lyrics moved me, both deeply and spiritually. I found myself praising God for individuals like MWS who have touched the lives of so many people over the years and have allowed people to experience God through music. The venue worked out well and the concert was a meaningful worship experience.

I've been to number of awesome MWS concerts, and this one was no exception. The Church was packed. The event was sold out, and they had to set up extra chairs to seat everyone. The only segment my friend and I didn't enjoy as much was the very loud segment featuring his older, more rock style music. The worship music though was totally awesome!

The music part of this was excellent. I especially loved the bagpipes. We just were expecting more worship music vs entertainment. But it seemed that the audience knew that this wasn’t the expectation. I love his old music and had hoped to hear more of it. But all in all for a secular concert with a mention of Jesus, it was well done. Like I said, the music and talent was perfect.

Absolutely amazing!!! The location. The parking, the atmosphere, the weather, the pick up and drop off to the venue... the actual venue, the snacks and drinks offered and the concert hall was amazing. And hearing michael w smith just melted my heart. I hope he comes back again.

Michael’s 4 decades of hits speak for themselves, and he and the 4 members of his band performed them from a wall of sound to a gentle whisper of voice and piano floating on the air on the beautiful so-cal evening. Michael’s performance and the presentation of his message woven in those beautiful songs was truly a glimpse of heaven. The two new songs that he previewed are setting the stage for another amazing decade. Thank you, Michael W Smith, you make it all so special.

The concert was excellent! Never have I seen two pianos play together like they did last night , especially not being in the same band and having done it for years. The night progressed so naturally, and as the night wore on, it was obvious that the spirit of the Lord was with us. Thank you for coming to Knoxville. The night was truly a blessing! Hi Thank you for asking. MW Smith is always awesome Christian Singer. We love to listen to him on multi media., and I'm a big fan of him. Thank God for his work creating Christian music for the glory of God. I always attended his concerts. However I was expecting a full band along with him. That has disappointed us. Hope next time he will come to Colorado with his full band of Musicians. Please let me know if he conducts a concert with all of his musicians Thank you

First time seeing both Michael and Riley! I loved the show, although I didn’t really love how the venue basically wouldn’t let us record. But, it was at the end when all the good stuff happened and everyone was recording and they couldn’t stop us. This show was even more special because I got to spend it with my dad as his 53rd birthday gift from my mom and I. It was the first time he had seen Michael since the 90s, we had such a great time! Thanks for making this birthday unforgettable for him and making our final show of the year amazing!

We adore Michael W. Smith. We went to the show to see him. We have seen him many times but, not in about 10 years. Our whole family went. He was wonderful but, he sang many medleys of his hits, (shortened versions) and sang only very few of his hits in their entirety. It was too short of a time with him. That part was very disappointing.

I loved it so fun to praise Jesus with all my brothers and sisters of Christ loved his story telling and songs he did the sweetest tribute to our dear sister in heaven with Jesus today Mandisa and just shared his music journey from the beginning of his career to today loved hearing his background stories on his songs praise Jesus for all the works he’s doing in this guys life .I loved his band when he played songs on his piano and guitar .

I loved being able to see them from home since I couldn’t see them in person! I saw them 30 some years ago in Seattle and it was so very uplifting! I had recently gotten sober and my sponsor from AA asked me to go! The show was fantastic and I felt the love of Jesus engulf me at your show!! Christian music always makes me feel good or better if I’m having a bad day! I have loved you over half of my life!! Thank you for making this possible to see you from afar! Merry Christmas to all!🙏 ❤️🎄💚❣️

The event was spectacular, spiritually uplifting & overwhelming in a beautiful way. Unlike an ordinary show, it felt like a special evening, everyone in the venue was united by Faith. Our communities need more of these events. Regarding the venue, I believe that theatre style would have enabled the audience to get a better view. Unfortunately ny view was blocked for majority of the evening by big hair styles. The artists performances were 💯 quality. I'd love to see Newsboys, Cece Winans & Michael W Smith again in future, at every opportunity. Thank you to everyone involved 💜

Michael and the band were excellent but the band was way too loud. During the first 1/2 of the show the band covered Michel's voice so it was difficult to understand what he was singing. The 2nd 1/2 of the show was still very loud on the part of the band but we could at least understand what he was singing. I try to attend every show that comes to close to Dallas but this is the first one that the drums and guitar was so loud that it drowned out Michael's voice. When we could hear it he was excellent!!!

Die Künstler waren TOP!!! 1A!!! Sie brachten sehr viele Stücke. Tolle Leistung. War das Geld wert. Schade, dass die Festhalle nicht so professionell ausgestattet war. Für solche Konzerte benötigt man anderes Kaliber an Musikboxen. Das Soundsystem war akzeptabel, jedoch kann man noch an der Akkustik vieles optimieren. Es war auch überfüllt. Zu viele Leute... nur Stehplätze... sehr heiss etc. Hatte aber trotzdem Spass und bin froh, dabei gewesen zu sein.

Hi, I was going to take my mom to the concert who is 90 and she just loves Michael W. Smith, but She had a slight fall and is in the hospital. So we both missed it. We are very sad to have missed it for Michael does not get close to where we live very often. Thank-you, Donna Rollins

It was a good show, but the venue wasnt my favorite. Entrance was a little crammed up waiting for the show to start. When we got inside the theatre the seats were very tight. You were elbow to elbow with the person next to you. Michael did his usual routine. Wish he would have done something a little different. All in all Michael sounded great.

It was an amazing experience. So cool to see the city of Nashville come together in such large numbers. Loved all the people united in praise and worship. Loved the concert of prayers especially the Spanish and Chinese one. I want this to spread across the country.
