Mi-Careme

Darkly melodic. Visually arresting. Mi-Careme is Louise Rene, Scarlett Rische, Darren Theriault, and Ryan Haas, passionate musicians inhabiting a singular vision. The powerful vocals and Rische's electric mandolin soar atop Haas's guitar and Theriault's bass in a musical landscape at once rich, nuanced, and memorable. Influences include Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots and No Doubt with a touch of Nine Inch Nails, but the sound is unique. Rische, Theriault and Haas had worked together and Rische discovered Nee's extroardinarily expressive voice and presence via youtube. They found they were united in goal and direction, with music as magical escape. They poured themselves into producing their own material and arrangements, and the result, at the place where sound and image combine with grace and power, is hauntingly beautiful. -Rob Simbeck Alternative Rock band based in Hollywood CA.
