Vince Clarke and Andy Bell - best known as the BRIT and Ivor Novello winning duo ERASURE - have, since their formation in 1985, released a staggering number of albums and singles, in the process leaving an indelible impact on our musical landscape.

From their debut Wonderland (1986) to their twentieth album, Radio!! Radio!!, the enduring pop duo have released an unbroken run of acclaimed albums, selling over 25 million worldwide, and their live performances - many of which are immortalised on album and DVD - remain legendary.

From the triumphant but lovelorn ‘Sometimes’, which catapulted the band into the UK charts in 1986, to ‘A Little Respect’, ‘Blue Savannah’, ‘Always’, ‘Who Needs Love Like That’, ‘Chains of Love’ and ‘Hey Now (Think I Got a Feeling)’, the band’s seemingly endless stash of singles are the purest pop: life affirming, warmly familiar yet futuristic.

Always, a collection that celebrated three decades of friendship between these two songwriters, hit the Top 10 of the UK Official Albums Chart, while their last studio album, 2020’s The Neon saw them back in the Top 5 with their highest chart position since 1994.

Running alongside their work as Erasure, both Andy Bell and Vince Clarke have had impactful careers as solo artists. An inspiration throughout the LGBTQ+ community - he was recently honoured at the Attitude Pride Awards in London - Andy Bell’s recent solo album, Ten Crowns, was released in 2025, and went into the UK Official Albums Chart at #14, hitting the #1 spot in both the Official Independent Albums Chart and the Official Album Downloads Chart.

Vince Clarke’s first solo album Songs of Silence released in 2023. Working under strict rules in his extensive studio, the cinematic album chimed a portentous minimalist note, and a collaboration with Neil Arthur (Blancmange) and Benge – Doublespeak – followed.

Over decades of work and friendship their relatable, soulful, joyous tunes, fuelled by a desire to create uplifting music for everybody has meant that Erasure have become one of the UK’s most enduring pop duos and songwriters.
