About 9 Gauge

This band was founded in early 2012 by brothers and musical partners Aaron and Justin Davis (Guitar/Vocals and Drums/Vocals respectively). After enlisting the help of friends Justin O'neel, Edi Ponce, and Joseph Zichterman, the band began practicing. After the departure of Joseph, the band sought out a new singer and found Luke James. After a month of work the band began playing shows and released their first EP, "Everything." O'neel departed the band shortly afterwards, and was replaced by current bassist Eric Fleming. The band continued on playing shows and released their second EP entitled "Beside the Railroad." Edi Ponce left the band after this EP. After a brief stint with Luke James on vocals and guitar, the band reformed with Aaron Davis taking lead vocals and lead guitar, Eric Fleming playing bass, Justin Davis continuing on drums and vocals, and Ben Baxter taking over for rhythm guitar. They are currently in the final stages of recording their newest EP "Under the Ground. Four Young Strangers is an alternative band based out of Portland, OR.
