With a full band supporting him, Johnny Lucas is a tremendous band leader. His professionalism is outstanding. He played all originals & covers. People might think he's from Australia , but he's a true Englishman making his way to & through America. With his boyish good looks & flowing red hair, the girls in the audience hang on to his every word.

This guy from England ,not Australia is a one man band. Who handles all instruments through a looping machine. But this night 1/2 through his set he brought out a full band. Featuring new kid on the block keyboard player Chris Corburn (15 yrs old). Definitely worth watching.

About Looking for Lucas

Writing with Looking For Lucas was a breathe of fresh air because Johnny has an unashamedly British sound, and that combined with the band’s raucous energy will be unstoppable! - Desmond Child

After making a name for himself around the UK as Johnny Lucas, the Manchester native is ready to take on the US with his new band, Looking for Lucas. After playing Isle of Wight and Glastonbury Festivals, Johnny is aiming for an even better 2018 with his band’s debut EP.

Looking for Lucas released a series of singles produced by Cage The Elephant's Lincoln Parish, which carries a strong Brit Pop influence with undertones of frontman Johnny Lucas’ 60’s idols -McCartney, Ray Davies, Bowie and Jeff Lynne, Looking for Lucas honed their distinct blend of British and American flavors at Talkboxrodeo (Lincoln Parish’s studio) on the outskirts of Nashville, TN.

After heavily touring around the UK and Europe as a one-man show replete with beatbox and looping magic, Johnny is ready to launch his latest endeavor, Looking for Lucas, with full force into the American market. The quartet adeptly engage the audience at their lives shows, making for a connected performance that packs a punch. Armed with raucous guitars, sticky melodies, sly lyrics and anthemic choruses, they are making a splash in Nashville’s rock scene.

Expect to be hearing much more throughout 2018 from Looking for Lucas as they gear up to tour the fall of 2018. Ever busy and full of material, the band has already begun work on their follow up effort, writing songs with Desmond Child (Livin On A Prayer, Dude Looks Like a Lady).
