One of the most memorable and spiritual concerts I've seen in a very long time! I've loved this music group for years, but since they hardly ever did any USA appearances, I thought I'd never get to see them live. Then, not only did they make a large US tour, they actually came to my city (which usually gets passed over for other cities in my state!!). I got the tickets months in advance and will snatch up more if they ever decide to come my way again (San Antonio, TX). That night is truly treasured, thank you!

Amazing show. Glad to finally see Wardruna and I was not disappointed. Can't wait until they return.
Second time at Warner. Balcony seats are child sized. This time sat in the orchestra section. Much better but Warner definitely needs to spend some money to redo the seats... pretty much sitting on the metal frame. All that said, Warner is a beautiful theater. Made even better with Wardruna.

I don't think I can properly put into words how great the show and band are. They just kept going and sang and played meticulously and tirelessly. It was seamless, eerie, and I felt it in every one of my cells. The lady sat next to me was crying from happiness. Out of all the shows I've seen live and loved, this one really blew most of them out of the water. One of my best concert experiences in my almost 40 years.

Thrilling and Epic experience by one of my favorite artists. The lighting effects, stage, and caliber of talent are an Honor to behold as Einer Selvik shares his phenomenal compositions of song and celebration of the history of the human spirit and our connection to the earth, a message of love and reintegration. Einar Selvik and his chosen circle of very talented artists are a must see. Awesome Composer, and us recognized by many fans as one of the single and most influential artists to have invigorated a huge interest in European Cultural History, Spirituality and Tradition.

Wardruna was everything I had hoped for. The sound was excellent, the setlist so satisfying, the vibe out of this world. We had a near full moon, perfect weather, and an incredible venue for such a show. It was such a spiritual experience and one that will stay with me.
Other positive points: The shuttle service was excellent. Parking off site then taking the shuttle to and from the venue was easy and cost effective. The service staff I encountered were all so friendly and I felt welcome. Thank you to the Greek for a great set-up.

The venue was excellent. Easy to get to and the seating was comfortable. Excellent sound and the seating allowed for everyone to see the stage very well. What a pleasure to be able to see Wardruna's concert there. The audience was respectful of the performers, the music, sound and lighting were all great. I could enjoy the music without a lot of distraction. Excellent music, excellent performers and music that touches the inner self.

From the very beginning towards the end there was a heartfelt intense atmosfære, T he landscape of each song took me in, the tapestry of wild current of ancient sources where the elements connect, the vast wide earth surrendered, a wild stream running, a dervish wind, a kindred fire. Intimate lyre , dazzling drums, hypnotic horns, tender tagle harp, the choir vocals, a Nordic siren chanting spells and a skald pouring their wildest offerings into their songs. Tho you Wardruna, all of you and crew for an unforgettable experience!!!

One of the most incredible gigs I’ve ever attended! I’ve attended two lecture/solo performances by Einar Selvik at Jorvik but have longed to see Wardruna live for many years. I was not disappointed! The sound was superb. Wardruna sound every bit as amazing live as on their albums which proves their skills, talent and integrity. And they played my favourite, Solringen.
The set and lighting was wonderful. And the Barbican a great performance space for this type of band. Big enough to get the atmosphere and vibe but also intimate enough to feel that I was really there with Wardruna. ❤️

The concert was off-the-charts good! Every song was performed like an epic movie; mountains, wolves, bears, tribes, emotions... it was a feast for the senses! The sounds, the lights, the imagery, costumes, instruments of all kinds, the haunting sounds, and incredibly talented musicians... Just WOW! It was bigger and better than I could have ever imagined!! So so good! 👏👏👏 PLEASE come back and play in Liverpool again guys!
The venue was brilliant, so much better than other ones I've been to in the North West. The sound carried so well inside! The building was clean, the staff were brilliant. My only issue was the merchandise stand was small and the queue was so long! I will buy merchandise from the band website instead.

They are even better live than on Spotify or YouTube. First time Wardruna have played in Liverpool, and my god did we show the love. The whole crowd erupted in applause and cheers after each and every song. Their music is beautiful. Like Nordic folk music, ambience, and filmscore all rolled into one.
Wardruna, you've got to come back ro Liverpool again, we love you all! Enjoy the rest of your shows in the UK. I've no doubt your audiences certainly will!

Absolutely captivating, it brought me to tears. The sound passed through you and wove its spell around you. We were lucky to get a glimpse of the new album without sacrificing the songs we have been waiting years to see. An incredibly excited audience at the news they want to return to Australia, but until then the memories of this concert will live with love in this fans heart

Spiritual, genuine and even better in person, than recorded. The powerful and uplifting energy grants the audience permission to flow with the moment, happy or sad. Yes, I cried, and without shame. Pure release, followed by pure joy. I have translated many of the songs as best I can, but one doesn't need to do so. The words and music are true and honest to each other, and transcend any language. The mastery each member has of their voices and instruments is evidence of the passion they hold for their musical and spiritual path; a bridge to an earth-centered future, echoing from the past.

Never in my life have I been so moved, emotionally, physically and Spritualy by any show!! It was as though each breath, word, note was there for me! The entire show was not only a musical experience but an all-encompassing spiritual enlightenment! When Einar spoke, I truly wished he would just continue! Every word was heartfelt and meaningful! I wished the night hadn't ended! And I cannot wait for the next time we will be honored by Wardruna, I will be 1st in line for tickets!

Amazing show. So much energy! The presentation was pretty simple, just music and lights with a color-changing backdrop and one or two projections onto the backdrop, but it was incredible. There were a lot of cool people there too, we were worried that for a band with a big Norse Pagan following there'd be a bunch of white supremacists there but the band is very actively anti-fascist and I didn't have any problems at all. There were a bunch of people of all genders wearing makeup and goth or Viking style clothes and the vibe was very chill. And Wardruna themselves made some antifascist statements at the end about how no culture is better than another and stuff, and the crowd went crazy for it, which was great. The music itself was intense, very loud, great use of electronic additions to traditional instruments while keeping a traditional feel. I am very impressed at the horn playing and singing, I could not hold a note that long if my life depended on it. The integration of the lights/effects and the music was great. Only real downside was the venue served alcohol and people kept walking past reeking of it. Would have also appreciated some kind of statement about avoiding flash photography and keeping your phone usage subtle as there were some flashes and some people holding up bright phone screens that interfered with my enjoyment a bit. An epilepsy warning probably would have been good too as there was some VERY intense flashing lights (which I enjoyed, but then I don't get seizures). Overall just an amazing show that I really enjoyed and so glad we drove 3 hours in the rain and across a border to get to, totally worth it.

Wardruna were amazing, absolutely faultless in their uniquely special way. However I was really disappointed to not be physically able to see the unique instruments being played, ir even most of the performers. They were in the dark the whole time. Wardruna features instruments barely ever seen in the world today, moraharpa, tagelharpa, bukkehorn and lur. I was excited to see the people and the instruments behind the sound, however someone saw fit to hide them as much as possible.

Show was fantastic as always, although it seemed a little rushed and somewhat less personal than the other 3 times I have attended - It might be because the venue was bigger this time, though. Crowd were awful this time around- everyone felt the need to record everything with a shitty smart phone, you know music videos exist right? The point is to have the live experience! Not some clip you’ll never view again. Unfortunately with Wardruna’s success, the fan base broadens and you end up with less favourable fans attending.

Can't post photos, the food of the gods wouldn't allow me. Filming it would have only taken me out of the moment. The emotions, the sights, the music, the setting, all were absolutely awe inspiring. The quality was better than studio. Definitely one of the amazing concert experiences of my life, and I lost count on concerts over 2o years ago. "A" fucking plus performance. Definitely worth flying across the country for.

Oh man, ive been looking forward to this concert for such a long time. I never thought id get to see Wardruna live. It did not disappoint! And Eivør was way more amazing than i expected. I just had so little experience with her music. The venue was great and surprisingly intimate feeling, even though its not small. Although yeah, at times in certain spots wothin the venue, the bass sounded a bit distorted and overblown. But it was still awesome to have this highly spiritual music rattle your ribcage. Truly a special night! Both artists are a must-see!

The music was amazing, very atmospheric, awesome instruments. Very ancient feeling. But I think that many metal heads went to this show with the wrong attitude and were very disruptive. I say this as a metal head myself. For example, talking loudly throughout the show and shouting Viking things at the artists while they were trying to talk and perform was inappropriate. I know they meant well, but this isn't Amon Amarth, it's Wardruna, and it's a totally different kind of music and experience.
That said, I absolutely love this band. They might be my favorite band, actually. I hope they come visit Cleveland, Ohio soon. I'll definitely see them again!
