SHOTGUN RADIO is a vocal-driven electronic duo based in Los Angeles, CA. Shotgun Radio members Marcel Saxlund (lyrics & vocals) and Greco Rossetti (keyboards & programming) have a unique commonality. They both left steady, mundane jobs to pursue their own collective expression. In the late 1990’s, Marcel worked as a banker on Wall Street and Greco was a second engineer on Michael Jackson’s “History” album. The sound of Shotgun Radio is a revelation to a wide array of audiences. Equal parts dance, rock, electronic and hip-hop styles fuel their songs all while retaining pop sensibilities and epic production value. Imagine M83 meets The Prodigy at She Wants Revenge's barbecue with The Killers bartending. Based in Hollywood, California, Shotgun Radio’s high-octane sound and stage shows have played to capacity crowds at The Viper Room, Avalon Hollywood, Vanguard Hollywood, Dragonfly, Bar Sinister, The Roxy and the Winter Music Conference. The group has scored music and licensed over a dozen songs for feature films, “Hotel California” and “Farmhouse” and has licensed music for Doritos, Timberland, Converse, Puma and K-Swiss, America’s Next Top Model, Star Wars: Episode II DVD promotion and countless other projects. Shotgun Radio has released several CDs, videos and singles and are currently booking tours, festivals and music scores for 2013 and beyond.
