Jo-s (Drum & Bass) Tucson, AZ, United States (Hospital / V Recordings / Metalheadz / Soul:r / Shogun / Subtitles / Eastside / Spearhead / Drumz) Jo-s has been a respected Drum and Bass veteran in the electronic music industry since 1995. His start began in the New York City scene where he cultivated a dedicated following as a DJ. As a Producer, Jo-s played an integral role in the development of Rawkuts Records, a division of the ground breaking Hip-Hop label Rawkus. Shortly thereafter, Taciturn Records released his debut album, "Firing Pin" through Sony distribution, featuring 13 original Jo-s tracks. In 2001 he re-located to Los Angeles where his talents as a Vocalist began to develop. This versatility makes him a huge asset to the industry, adding production value to his sets with live singing. In 2009 Jo-s collaborated with Netherlands based producer Lenzman and released the liquid stormer "Emeralds" on Shogun Ltd. This powerful duo continued to release on heavyweight labels such as Metalheadz, Soul:r and Subtitles. Jo-s went on to do vocal work for other artists such as Eveson on "Time Flows By", which received heavy support by Bailey and Fabio on BBC, as well as Bryan Gee who subsequently signed the song to V Recordings. His collaboration with S.P.Y. entitled "Future Tense", available on the highly respected label Hospital Records, features the deeply emotive vocal style only Jo-s can deliver. Fresh off his recent podcast for Hospital, and now celebrating 20 years in the industry, Jo-s is currently set to release brand new, original music and is available for national and international performance dates - representing all styles of Drum & Bass!
