Kodomo

Kodomo, the moniker for Emmy award-winning composer Chris Child, is an acclaimed electronic music producer known for his cinematic, beat-driven, and immersive soundscapes. His music is deeply influenced by IDM, minimalism, techno, and various strands of ambient music.
Kodomo's discography includes several critically lauded works, starting with his debut album Still Life (2008), which introduced his signature sound through the use of visual inspiration for each track.

Following Still Life, Kodomo continued to explore and expand his sound with releases like Frozen In Motion (2012), Patterns & Light (2014), Divider, (2017), Three Spheres (2020), SEER EP (2022), Epocha EP (2024), and Pieces For Piano Vol. 2.

Beyond his solo work, Child has made significant contributions to video games, particularly with Harmonix, composing music for titles like Amplitude and Rock Band. In 2018, he co-founded the record label Foil Imprints with sound artist Micah Frank. The label is dedicated to releasing innovative electronic music, and their collaborative series Tape Pieces explores experimental approaches to sound using analog tape equipment and field recordings.
