TheReckShop is a Guitarist, DJ and Producer from Seattle, Washington. He has been involved in music since he was 15 years old. For over 10 years he has worked in many different capacities, from live sound to studio engineer, guitarist to producer to DJ, metal to hip-hop to electronic music, Seattle to Arizona to New Orleans to New York and back again, he has been ingrained in the American music scene... Because his taste in music is so wide and varied, it’s hard to classify him into one genre, since as soon as you do, he’s gonna switch it up on you! Lately he has been putting down savage Dubstep /DrumStep mushups from some of the best producers on the scene and producing oddly original originals. Always trying to keep it fresh, TheReckShop keeps you on your toes, throwing down hardcore tracks and crazy BPM’s in his mix to keep the crows sweatin’! His style of super heavy, glitchy, superlative Dubstep/DrumStep has been killing the eardrums anyone willing to listen. He’ll put it down any style, anywhere, anytime... You wanna go versus? You best be ready because he takes on all challengers. You want to hop on the decks with him to go back to back, he’s always down! If you want to know his history, he started out in Seattle as a guitar player and singer but shortly moved on the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona where he first discovered the underground rave scene. After completing school he moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he managed a recording studio and was a hip-hop producer. After 2 years he landed a job at Electric Lady Studios in NYC, where his sanity was certainly put to the test... After deciding that he only wanted to make his own music he moved back to Seattle, Washington, where he currently resides, pumping out the bangers in Dubstep, DrumStep, and Hardstep (notice a pattern?) as well as playing guitar in a progressive metal band.
