About Here Come the Mummies

Here Come the Mummies
Here Come the Mummies is an eight-piece funk-rock band of 5000 year-old Egyptian Mummies with a one-track mind. Their "Terrifying Funk from Beyond the Grave" is sure to get you into them (and possibly vice versa).
Since their discovery, HCTM has been direct support for P-Funk, Al Green, Mavis Staples, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Cheap Trick; rocked Super Bowl Village; become a regular on The Bob and Tom Show; appeared on That’s My Jam with Jimmy Fallon; played massive festivals like Summer Fest, Summer Camp, Bluesfest Byron Bay, Musikfest, and Suwannee Hulaween; and sold tickets by the thousands across large swaths of North America. Maybe that’s why the ladies (and some dudes) can’t stop losing their minds over these mayhem-inducing mavens of mirth.
Some say they were cursed after deflowering a great Pharaoh’s daughter. Others claim they are reincarnated Grammy-Winning studio musicians. Regardless, HCTM’s mysterious personas, cunning song-craft, and unrelenting live show will bend your brain, and melt your face. Get ready! Here Come The Mummies.
HCTM is “way more than a mere novelty act” Sydney Morning Herald
HCTM “‘KILLED’ it… Not only did they pack their stage - they were the hit of the night when they jumped on stage with moe. in front of 20,000.” - Jay Goldberg, Summer Camp Music Festival
“Here Come The Mummies are one bad-ass band, a hybrid of Idris Muhammad, George Clinton, Ohio Players, and Earth, Wind & Fire.” -Blurt Magazine
“A band unlike any other.” -examiner.com
“That’s the most fun I've had in 20 years.” -Bob Kevoian, The Bob & Tom Show

What fans are saying
fun, funky & hilarious! danced & smiled all night!
first time at this outdoor space and it was lovely. clean, well organized and a bunch of food trucks. i just wished they had made a bit of a ga standing/dancing area in front of the stage. people set up chairs right in front of the stage and sat the entire time, so people who wanted to dance needed to away from the stage. kind of weird for a funk show. how do you even sit for a funk show?!!!

A great show! The theater and music of Here Come the Mummies is so much fun! The band members never stop moving and each and every one is brilliant musician. If you have a chance to go to a concert, don't miss it! The band put on an almost two-hour show without a break, and the time flew by even though we were on our feet the whole time. The venue was perfect -- small, great sight lines and good acoustics. Drinks were expensive, but that was expected.

The best concert I've ever been to! The venue was clean and the songs were dirty! I was in the front row orchestra pit and couldn't stop dancing when they played Dirty Minds! Every member of this band is so talented, and they put it out for you and give it their all! Thank you for all the fabulous funky music, y'all!!! Rock on
