The smell of whiskey, cheap beer and cigarettes fills the dimly lit South Austin bar.. The Trim swaggers up to the stage - and so begins their sweet, harmonious adventure - they straddle the past and present - at once recalling the glory days of rock while effortlessly giving birth to a newborn sound that cries out to its mother with psychedelic ferocity and soulful emotion. Your eyes close as you take in the sounds - the familiar, yet, fresh melodies - the waves of electric guitar and hammond organ.. This is pure, this is powerful, this is loud, this is what rock and roll was always meant to be. music. tacos. bourbon. beer. wine. music. friends. Such is life for Austin rock band The Trim.
