Suspire

Suspire are a four-piece Scottish rock band from Glasgow, featuring multi-instrumentalists Brian Cunningham and Paul Duffin, with Clare Duffin on drums and backing vocals; and Chris Yacomine on bass guitar. Known in their hometown of Glasgow for their hands-on D.I.Y. approach to their art, the band have independently (i.e. without help from a big record label) released records on their own label and performed at a host of small festivals, including The Wickerman and Rockness. After years of releasing a number of singles and EPs, the band released their debut album with support from fans (and Pledge Music) on 8 September 2014, celebrated by a launch hosted by XFM at Glasgow’s Hard Rock Café. The band have received radio airplay across the world and have performed live sessions for BBC Radio Scotland (Janice Forsyth Show) and the breakfast show for Salford City FM. Their second album single, 'On a Clear Day' was also a featured Breakout Track on XFM's breakfast and drivetime shows. The band made their debut TV appearance in Vancouver in 2012 and thier first live TV appearance in Scotland on STV Glasgow in 2014.
