The Breaking Yard

The Breaking Yard is a force like water, calmly lapping against the shore until a wind or any other disturbance whips up a fury of white tipped crescendos terrifying the fragile reality of their audience. No malice is in their sound but a more treacherous trait, rather, a pure honest love for humanity. Their lyrics ebb and flow in the melodies stimulating the conscience peeling away, even if just for a moment, that veil of cynicism we all wear. The Breaking Yard has recently been reformed by founders Stephen and Mel Baker, maintaining only one other member since their last national tour, hammered dulcimer player Matt Widmann.
