The Gladsome Light

Our passion is creating music that shares the truth of Jesus in new and different ways. We believe that following Jesus is a life changing journey, and we hope our music reflects the joy, excitement, peace and struggle we find along this path. Lead singer Tye Barrett began serving as the Worship and Arts Pastor at UBC in 2011 after David Crowder moved on to other pursuits. Barrett began assembling a group of musicians including Jameson McGregor, a seminary student at Baylor University. In the spring of 2013 former Dutton bandmates Brian Patterson (guitar) and Nathan Jennings (drums) joined forces with the band. We look forward to meeting you and hope to become friends! We are The Gladsome Light, a worship band from wonderful Waco, TX, home to Dr. Pepper, the Baylor Bears and our church, UBC. Lets be friends!
