Based in the Twin Cities, MN, McNasty Brass Band brings the Minneapolis sound to new territory by combining the spirit of New Orleans with elements of Prince, old school funk, and a splash of R&B.
Since their debut EP release Southside Fridays in early 2015, the McNasty Brass Band has been continuously writing music to push the limit of what a fully acoustic dance band can do. It’s their raw, organic brass sound that makes the music so infectious. A reckless, ten-piece megazord of horns and drums, McNasty Brass Band can blow the walls off a house party, march down the streets of a parade, or own the stage with the confidence of a well-oiled groove machine.
