About The Macsters
The Macsters blends power-pop and rock, and traces its origins to South Florida where they've exploded onto the scene. In April 2012, lead singer Michael ‘Mac’ McNamee and his band had the honor of performing their fan-favorite, 'Silly Willy,' before an audience of nearly 1,000 with Ida Safirstein-Lang (bass/vocals) and Fred Zanegood (drums). The response was overwhelmingly positive and led to the EP release of Silly Willy on iTunes May 8, 2012. Since the EP release, The Macsters have had dozens of performances in and around the Miami area, and are looking forward to their full-length CD release at the end of May 2016.
