Short but complete official biography:
The trio, today bass-drums-guitar, was originally formed within the jazz circles as bass-drums-saxophone formation, that remains the same for more than 5 years, even if whit the alternation of two saxophonists. From the very beginning, toghether with the inevitable concert training, with a great deal of jazz and clubs, we devote ourselves entirely to the creation of original tunes, regardless of any kind of genre bonds, stimulated by the challenge represented by the absence of any kind of armonic instrument. It may be that without the experience gained whit this lineup it woud be even more difficult to reach the right tuning, of ideas and sound, that we feel today with the guitar, armonic universe once unknown.

R-11 ovvero 'Round Eleven, trio oggi basso-batteria-chitarra, in origine è nato in ambito jazzistico come formazione basso-batteria-sax, formazione rimasta tale per più di cinque anni, con l'avvicendamento di due sassofonisti. Sin dagli inizi, parallelamente all'inevitabile gavetta concertistica , ci si è dedicati all'ideazione di brani originali senza badare a vincoli di genere, stimolati in questo dalla sfida rappresentata dall'assenza di uno strumento armonico.
