Frida & Gurte

Frida & Gurte sind zwei junge DJs aus Berlin. Ihre Zusammenarbeit liegt weit zurück. Im Jahr 2002 entdeckten sie ihre gemeinschaftliche Leidenschaft für Musik. Ihre Dj Karriere starteten sie getrennt voneinander, veranstalteten aber parallel gemeinsam mit ihrer Crew "Mobileactor" eine Partyreihe im Arena Club. Auf einer Party im Brunnen 70 legten sie dann erstmal spontan zusammen auf. Schnell war klar, dass ihr Sound perfekt harmoniert. Nach einer langen Nacht auf dem Fusion Festival 2010 entstand dann der Name Frida & Gurte nach nicht mehr nachvollziehbaren Gesprächen :) Seitdem haben sie in Clubs wie den Arena Club, Wilde Renate, Sisyphos, Chalet, Kater Holzig, Neustockland, Badeschiff, Ritter Butzke, Binuu, Mikz, Morlox und noch einigen mehr gespielt. Ihren ersten Auftritt im Ausland hatten sie in Kopenhagen im Club "Haven Carlsberg". "House kann noch immer die beste Musik der Welt sein – es kommt nur auf den Kontext an" _____________________________________________ Frida & Gurte is represented by Gianni and Johannes, two promising young DJs from Berlin who began collaborating years ago. They discovered their desire for music back in 2002, first experimenting with Hip Hop and now working with the deep urban sounds of Berlin. They started their DJ careers separately, but together with their crew “Mobileactor” they have already launched a series of parties at the Arena Club. The first time they played together was back to back on a party at the club, Brunnen 70. Quickly, they realised that their sound perfectly harmonises and the crowed immediately appreciated the union. The name Frida & Gurte was the result from a long night at the Fusion Festival 2010. Since that they played together in clubs such as Arena, Wilde Renate, Sisyphos, Neustockland, Badeschiff, and Ritter Butzke.
