Great performers, Great comedy between the acts. The leadsinger's voice is way better in person than it is on spotiffy. I think i can go on and on about this one performence. But if you read this. Take my advice and go see them live it is an experience you won't forget

Great show, great ambiance. This concert was such fun, I didn't want it to end. To the Dreadnoughts: you guys need to do more concerts 🤘 you are fantastic entertainers with great sound and great voices. Would like to see you again, perhaps in my home town Luxembourg? 😉

A great show, but it could have been so much better if the set would have been the same as the Sea Shanty Night in Connolly's, New York.
Is there any chance we might get a Sea Shanty Night in the UK? As a member (and Organiser) of Cumbria's own Shanty group, Nobody's Friends and the one who runs Penrith's monthly Folk session, I would be only too happy to help set it up.

A Canadian punk folk polka sea shanty band shredding music in a Scottish pub. What more would anyone want out of a show! This was my first time seeing this band it won’t be my last one of the best shows I’ve ever seen highlight was when the bar owner, Scottish Dave, sang the old triangle, just simply amazing. Great show!

This was one of the greatest shows ever! My two sons (7 and 10) had a blast and even got to meet the band!!! I can't wait for them to come back to the mid Atlantic so we can catch the next amazing show!!!

Can’t wait for you guys to come back to town again. Hands down, one of the best concerts I’ve ever experienced! These guys interact with the crowd like no other and are just a blast to be around. I’ll gladly be a part of any polka line that you guys form!

Reinventing the marriage of punk/ folk/ shanty/ polka one performance at a time. Light hearted energetic sarcasm and integration of music lovers young and old. Want a reason to scream in a mosh pit with fellow barbarians or be inspired to read world history? You can have it all. See the Dreadnoughts. Bring the kids. Bring grandma. Youll never be the same. And you'll crave more.

You get what you paid for, one of the greatest folk punk bands out there... and the lead vocalist keeps calling everyone cockehad and shithead.
Also the crowd did whatever the f**k this is during one of their songs [see image attached].

Awesome time, love the new music and the polka pit, and the fact that the Ohio State buckeyes game was playing during the concert was strangely epic!
This is only the seventh time I’ve seen you guys in concert and it’s awesome every time!

Just an amazing show, I hope they do this every year going forward. All three bands kicked a*s, but the Dreadnoughts brought the house down. It's 2025 and you have a room full of hundreds of people dancing in a polka train. Beautiful. Polka Never Dies at midnight, Leave Her Johnny as the encore.
It was really just an insane amount of fun, there's no other way to put it. Outstanding musicianship on display of course, but also, it was a proper PARTY. Getting all the bands on stage for Polka Never Dies and Leave Her Johnny was like a dream come true. Winzige Hosen has covered Polka Never Dies, so getting to see them and Captain Tom actually play it WITH the Dreadnoughts was awesome.
I'll put it this way: my 70 year old aunt who introduced me to the Pogues when I was a kid (which led to the Dreadnoughts when I got to college) drove 3 hours to meet me for the show. She got in the polka train...six weeks after a double knee replacement (and after we had a few rounds). THAT'S what dance music is. Not music that's called "dance music" because it has a beat, but music that MAKES you get up and dance because it's just too fun not to.

Going in, I was familiar with the Dreadnoughts’ music but had no preconceived notion of what a live show of theirs would bring. Based on their music, I was expecting a high energy scene, but this show blew me away! Easily the best value live rock performance I’ve been to in years-maybe ever. What other band can feature crowd-surfing / beer fetching, circle mosh pits, a polka train out into the street DURING the show, and full-throated a capella shanties with the audience ???!!
The Dreadnoughts kick it. Go see them. Polka never dies!

Just an awesome show!! Brought a more casual fan with me and he enjoyed the music so much he had to get a Joli Rouge T-shirt before the night was over! When you can get an entire room doing a polka train in 2024 in New Jersey, you're doing something right.
These guys always put on a fantastic show. No frills, no filler, just musicians kicking a*s. I've been a fan for a while and there's nothing like hearing the opening riffs to Antarctica or Cider Road to get your blood pumping. Solid mix of folk-punk and a capella sea (or river) shanties, plus a surprise song as the encore that I'm sincerely hoping makes it onto the next album. I won't spoil it for anyone else going to shows on their tour.
Always a good time, will absolutely be seeing them again for any show that's within a 2 hour drive.

Excellent venue, fantastic energy. Everyone put on a spectacular show and I even found two new bands to adore. I've seen the Dreadnoughts before and will undoubtedly see them again. I'll have to watch Kung Fu Necktie for any future shows I like

2nd time seeing the Dreadnoughts, absolutely amazing. Nicky Rickshaw and the Pourmen were also excellent.
The venue was great, the food was really good and the top floor of the church had TONS of space to eat while you watched the show down stairs on a projector. 10/10 would drive 5 hours to see again.

The Dreadnoughts and Captain Tom and the Hooligans both put on an amazing show in a great venue. Family friendly, encouraging the small cohort of kids to participate and even come on stage for one song. Fantastic energy. If you like their recordings you will LOVE THEM live.

The Dreadnoughts were awesome, 5 stars.
The lead of the "headliner" band, bridge city sinners was in the hospital or something? I don't know, I was standing in line for the bar during the announcement. Basically the remaining band members came on the stage one at a time over an unremarkable set of several songs, which just proceeded to make the entire crowd's revved-up energy from the Dreadnoughts fizzle out completely. Everybody around me was grumbling "why don't they just bring the Dreadnoughts back out?" They barely salvaged any of their set by getting their first opener back out to do two the Devil Makes Three staples at the very end of the night.

The dreadnoughts, are one of my favorite bands, this is the first time I saw them, Great energy, and most of the popular songs were played. However, not much from the last two albums, especially Green Willow. Obviously, we shepherds are the best of men. By the way, King Louie was awesome!!
