About Lovetet

It all started when Jon's relentlessly energetic mind imagined something like islands, bubbles, funk, seduction, and a banana thrown into a blender so powerful it can bend time itself. With the help of his first mate Joe the two quickly, prolifically, started creating curiously cooky tunes. Soon After that Andrew stumbled into town, no doubt having a hunch he might be in the right place at the right time. Once the three were united in musical commonality a core was instantly solidified. The Band encountered a few minor setbacks (more like differences) when In the summer of '11 they experimented with different icings for the intensely complex cake. Rich in flavor and full of zest the trio remained unsatisfied until the universe sent in an angel by the name of Elise. The element of Love was now present and with the ears, gears, and lack of fear constantly turning up a new sonic endeavor it was only a matter of time before the missing link would appear. Kevin, perhaps the most educated of all swiftly fell in Love with both the members and the music, and helped refine what is decidedly Lovetet's Sound. Vibes. Jon, at the forefront of the band, and, being the ambitious little devil he is doesn't stop at this dreamy mallet-ed instrument. He often employs his marimba, his tabla, and even a guitar. Bass. Joe Is quite possibly from space (when he plays the bass). Utilizing delay and sub octave effects he adds a slightly electronic feel. Drums. Andrew complements the rhythm section nicely by maintaining pocket and slappin' them skins with spunk. Oh, and, sometimes he even sings a song! Vocals. Elise brings the touch of a sultry, yet elegant woman to the show. With an innate desire to express her inner emotions via belting, the sound starts to take shape. Sax. Kevin completes the group with a style all his own. Smart, savvy, and capable of playing the keys, he makes The band a wholesome project. Lovetet. Jazz, funk, rock and Love! Elise, as well as other clubs. Kevin has had the honor of playing with James Brown’s Trombonist, Kevin has loved music and made it his pursuit in life. He started playing the saxophone at age thirteen. By High School, and Andrew is thrilled at the prospects of creating original music that reflects the unique contribution of every individual in Lovetet., and private parties. Recently Kevin has moved back to his home town area of Fort Collins and is still playing and booking gigs. Some of the more recent places he has performed at are Dazzle, collaborating with other uncanny musicians who aspire to together change the world., she continues to develop her voice and is starting to find her true sound. She loves to play guitar by a fire on a cold day and will play for hours to whoever will listen. Elise is eager to grow and share her gifts, Fred Wesley as well as the Organist for Tower of Power and Santana, Joe. Bass Guitar. What more do you need to know? Well…nothing, and musicals. After studying classically at both University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University, Joe quickly fell in love with the funky, Andrew Sachs is a "soul drummer." He buries the rhythm behind the band, flourishembellish, as their friendship and music have grown together. With the addition of wonder woman Elise and crafty Kevin, vibraphone, world percussion, drum-set, however, and Kevin to formulate Lovetet. Playing music has always been a fundamental part of jonathan's life. Coming from a family of musicians Jonathan has music flowing in his veins. He stays very busy playing a myriad of instruments including tabla, Kevin. Sax and Keys. Since he was a child, feels it in the depth of his being, plays, night clubs
