Elise Wunder is a 24 year old singer/songwriter who has been singing since she could talk. She has participated in multiple choirs, plays, and musicals. After studying classically at both University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University, she continues to develop her voice and is starting to find her true sound. She loves to play guitar by a fire on a cold day and will play for hours to whoever will listen. Elise is eager to grow and share her gifts, collaborating with other uncanny musicians who aspire to together change the world., Jonathan Sadler is a lifelong musician and multi-instrumentalist. Playing music has always been a fundamental part of jonathan's life. Coming from a family of musicians Jonathan has music flowing in his veins. He stays very busy playing a myriad of instruments including tabla, vibraphone, marimba, piano, guitar, world percussion, drum-set, harp, and hammer dulcimer. Jonathan loves diversity in music and likes to fuse styles and put his own twist on them to create new and interesting sounds., Joe. Bass Guitar. What more do you need to know? Well…nothing, however, to be pragmatic he began playing when he discovered a friend in math class was with a band that lacked a bass player. Although he started with classical guitar at a slightly younger age, Joe quickly fell in love with the funky, low-end spectrum and simultaneously developed a taste for rock’n’roll. After a few years of (mostly) self-teaching and a chance jazz improv class with the legend David Baker, he found his calling in a sexy, black Warwick Corvette and the flavors of fusion. Continuing with a very ambitious appetite for groove, Joe grew fond of such revolutionary greats as Jaco and Oteil. “These guys couldn’t be more articulate, elegant, AND funky…as one another…yet still entirely unique and enjoyable…(to my own ears!)” he stated wordily. To be simple, which is appropriate, “they bad!” A third major influence, totally worth mentioning, is Tom Jenkinson. He is perhaps one of the most underrated, instrument-changing bassists of our time. Joe inquires, “Do you know Squarepusher?” Since moving to Colorado from Cincinnati, Joe has accomplished a solo electronic album, performances at the Aggie and Mishawaka Theater (Ft. Collins) and the Bluebird Theater (Denver), while most recently joining the forces of Jon, Andrew, Elise, and Kevin to formulate Lovetet. Finally, he proposes his role in this jazz outfit as: create/compose, flourish/embellish, push the envelope BUT keep it FUNKY! That last part is very important. With the mitigating factors slipping away, what more do you really need to know??, Andrew Sachs is a "soul drummer." He buries the rhythm behind the band, feels it in the depth of his being, and releases it with daring creativity and spunk. Forever curious, he probes the depths of space and time in his playing to honor the beauty and light of his fellow musicians. The joy Lovetet’s music brings to his life is immense. It is the soundtrack to his life in Fort Collins. The last 13 years of beating the skins has culminated in the good fortune of finding Joe through craigslist, who then introduced him to Jon. These two moved him to higher ground, as their friendship and music have grown together. With the addition of wonder woman Elise and crafty Kevin, the band’s sound is full, and Andrew is thrilled at the prospects of creating original music that reflects the unique contribution of every individual in Lovetet., Kevin. Sax and Keys. Since he was a child, Kevin has loved music and made it his pursuit in life. He started playing the saxophone at age thirteen. By High School, Kevin had already received several awards from both the schools he attended and the International Association of Jazz Educators, (IAJE). That is also when he performed in a Disney production, The Wonderful World of Music. After High School, Kevin drove to Buffalo NY to study with saxophonist Bobby Militello. After spending a year playing and studying in Buffalo, Kevin took Militello’s advice and moved to Oklahoma where he studied musical performance at The University of Central Oklahoma. Under the direction of Lee Rucker and Brain Gorrell, Kevin was able to further his playing to even higher levels which landed him gigs playing The Charlie Christian Festival, Opening Night (Oklahoma’s New Year’s Celebration), as well as countless casinos, night clubs, and private parties. Recently Kevin has moved back to his home town area of Fort Collins and is still playing and booking gigs. Some of the more recent places he has performed at are Dazzle, the Budweiser Events Center, the Aggie, as well as other clubs. Kevin has had the honor of playing with James Brown’s Trombonist, Fred Wesley as well as the Organist for Tower of Power and Santana, Chester Thomson.
