Luke Black combines the theatrical and melancholic in a gleaming approach to alternative pop. The independent, London-based Serbian star has built a creative paradise over a few years of bathing in the local musical landscape, but their journey hasn’t been a smooth Lime bike ride down the river - there’s been a battlefield to navigate; expansive and emotional and riddled with negative voices from within and outside, and he has channelled it all through his transformative debut album, “Chainsaws in Paradise”, due in May 2024.
