Kenny Loggins initial comment was "you've got a nice little nightclub here" meaning the You Tube Theatre! Nice place, good sightlines, sound & lighting top notch, but the facility seemed a bit too unfinished (signage for restrooms missing, lack of inside refreshment/food locations, food trucks instead of usual snack bar type --- all seemed very temporary!!
Lastly, the opening act (which there set went about 45 mins. was longer than normal) came out on stage - unannounced - about 12 minutes BEFORE the scheduled start time for the show. Never seen that before as light & sound crews appeared to be caught off guard!!
After that strange beginning to the gig, Kenny Loggins did himself quite proud by doing a great very personal show as this was two shows away from the end of his touring after all these many years. Probably 4 or 5th time over his career that I've caught his act - always good. This was VERY GREAT and what a way to go out....

I'd been trying for years to see this guy and could never make it due to conflicts, but I finally got to see him. We paid a pretty penny for our tickets, and when he first started singing, my husband and I both looked at each other because we thought the same thing: "Uh oh, he's lost it." He sounded kinda frail like many older singers start sounding as they age, but as he warmed up some, about halfway through the show, we could hear the Kenny Loggins we used to know. By the end of the show, he was back! Great energy, great sound and sweet stories. We very much enjoyed his show and were very happy we went. We even bought merch afterwards, and my husband never buys merch.

Kenny was awesome! He performed great, he seemed to have a ton of energy and his band didn’t disappoint! He’s had an awesome career and I’m sad to see him retire but I get it! My wife and I were celebrating 34 years together and couldn't have asked for a better night out; unforgettable!! The venue was beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was good but a bit overpriced. But definitely a 5 of 5; Kenny rocked it; best wishes to him!!!

Kenny Loggins gave us his very best performance. Over the years. I have seen him many, many times. Tonight was Special for all of us, we knew that this was Kenny Loggins, Final
Tour 💔
We knew that” This is it !” We knew that this was the last time we would see him in Concert taking us from House on Pooh Corner to Danger Zone. We knew each and every Word and We Celebrated Him Home, his first Album as a Soloist Artist !
We celebrated all his years of writing Grammy winning songs, songs in movies, Footloose, CaddyShack. I didn’t want it to end. Each song represented a part of my Life ! He brought back memories of my long lost family and he brought such happiness into my Heart. These are the hardest words that I have ever written to a man that I adore. Kenny Loggins, I wish you All The Best in Your Lifetime. Thank you for sharing your music with us/me. Thank you for being there when I felt alone. You will Always “Meet Me Halfway “ ♥️

Everything about this event was first class other than the heat in Clearwater which of course nobody has control over. We found the venue comfortable and easy to get around. The opening band, Pablo Cruise, began the evening with great energy. Kenny Loggins and his band we're wonderful. I played a great selection of Kenny's hits, a couple of is not so hits which were good to hear, and his commentary in between songs was much appreciated.

Kenny was awesome!! I really wanted to give this review 5 stars, but The Family Arena parking situation was a complete mess! It took about 45 minutes to get into the lot so my friend and I missed the set by the Yacht Rock Revue which we were really looking forward to. And then it was also a complete cluster getting out of the lot at the end of the night as well. There are no marked spaces so no signs to help you locate your car. People were just wandering around the lot for a long time after the concert trying to find their cars. And cars were going every which way to try to get to one of the two exits. it took us 45 minutes to even get to the exit. The Family Arena REALLY needs to fix this. I don't think I'll go there again. But Kenny's show was worth all the trouble. I hope to see him again before he wraps up his tour.

So much fun! I have always wanted to see Kenny Loggins in concert and I am so glad I caught his final tour. He sounded great, as did his other band members. The energy kept building until the encore, and he graced us with a very touching second encore. Our venue in Williamsburg is not very big, and I feel so fortunate that we were one of the stops on this tour. Thanks for 50 years of wonderful music, Kenny!

Kenny Loggins was fabulous! His song list was wonderful and really, really enjoyed him telling the crowd about the background of the songs. His band was great! Kenny will be forever remembered as an outstanding singer, song writer and performer! After all the years of his career he will be truly missed by all.
The venue of the Filene Center at Wolf Trap was awesome! It is a wonderful amphitheater with all great seating, beautiful construction and the acoustics.
Absolutely loved the concert!

The Filene Center is just beautiful! The night couldn’t have been more perfect. Our seats were amazing as was Kenny! Love him! He is my favorite artist of all time. I could listen to him for hours. He did not disappoint! The show was fantastic! Kenny I will miss you and your live performances.
The Yacht Rock Review were very good as well. It was the first one seeing them! Nicely done.

Kenny Loggins concert at the Peace Center was fabulous. Kenny has a fantastic energy, loved hearing stories behind each song, his band was amazing and he has an incredible catalog of songs. It was a great concert from start to finish.
The Peace Center venue could be one of my all time favorites, acoustics are amazing, it's a very comfy venue and very convenient to get in and out of before and after the show. It was a fabulous night of music, Thank you Kenny Loggins !!!

Kenny Loggins: 5/15/23 “Until last year I had not seen either member of the 70’s folk-rock duo Loggins & Messina LIVE, that all changed in October when Jim brought his solo tour to town, same venue! It seems that last years L&M appearance at the Hollywood Bowl stirred them both awake, Kenny being the late riser of the twain. The Peace Center in Greenville was the location and I was in the balcony second row from the top —well out of the danger zone unless a nose bleed was to be the threat at hand. Thankfully every seat in the house has been time tested and approved to be a great experience both visually and sound-wise. Billed ‘This Is It — His Final Tour 2023’ with 27 dates, Loggins had promised his fans it would consist of 90% hits at conception. That may’ve been easier said than done considering his 6 albums with Jim and 14 of his own, including 21 charted singles in his solo career alone. Where would it begin, where would it end, assuredly I would hear his rendition of some of the same songs I had recently heard Jim perform. The concert hall was sold out and the stage was set: Lead and rhythm guitars in the left forefront, drums with KENNY LOGGINS on the drum head, keyboards, horns/percussion all on a large raised platform in the rear, bass on the right down below. Kenny positioned in the direct center with dual monitors and a full pedal board would play both acoustic and electric guitars. A background screen shown various images such as album covers and photographs, as well as display Kenny’s ‘KL’ logo during the performance. At 7:30 p.m. Kenneth Clark 75 took the stage for a 1.35 hour / 15 song set beginning with 1980’s #36 ‘Keep The Fire’. Next a four song mini-set all collaborations with Michael McDonald ensued, but not without Loggins first addressing the audience, ‘Wooo, You ready? Me too, beautiful theater I love it, you guys feel great, I’m happy!’ On many of the recent dates Yacht Rock Review had been Kenny’s opener. Prior to playing his #15 ‘Heart To Heart” Kenny noted, ‘Usually about this time I borrow one of those captain’s hats from them. I forgot to bring mine tonight so you’ll just have to take my word for it, I AM The Captain Of The Ship and here’s one of the reasons why.’ ‘This Is It’ written during a time when Kenny’s dad went into the hospital for major surgery was up next. His dad was preparing him in the event he would die. Kenny told us, ‘I figured since it was hemorrhoid surgery he had a fighting chance’ and the song would have been titled, ‘Keep The Fire!’ Kenny proved himself both to be humorous as well as to have a striking personality. The tour might have been more appropriately been titled, ‘Songs & Stories With Kenny’. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve come to appreciate background stories from artists nowadays, especially from the older ones. When the artists are gone, the stories unless tucked away somewhere in an old rock ’n’ roll magazine interview will be too. Kenny with class kept the stories no longer than two and a half minutes (about the length of your standard radio single back in the day). ‘What A Fool Believes’ unreleased as a single off his second album was next. Pulling up to McDonald’s house one day Kenny had heard Michael noodling around with the melody on the keys. Kenny grabbed his guitar out of the trunk and the two added lyrics. Just nine months after Loggins’ release Michael and The Doobies brought their version of the song all the way up to number one! The band along with Kenny (three acoustic six-strings and an acoustic Spanish bass) took seats for another four song mini-set. Kenny jested, ‘This next one (‘House At Poo Corner’) goes back to when I was a senior in high school about twenty-two years ago’ (audience laughs). In the backstory of recording the 1971 song, Disney had issued him a cease and desist. It turned out Kenny was dating the daughter of the CEO of the Disney corporation at the time and she helped pushed the song through to release. On ‘Danny’s Song’ (a B-side from Loggins & Messina’s first record that later became a #7 for Anne Murray) he added a brand new verse dedicated to his granddaughter. ‘Celebrate Me Home’ was the vocal highlight, at one point Kenny traded off vocals for guitar, then vocals for saxophone in an on-stage dual. Loggins sounded as good as he ever has in his five-decade long career hitting the highs on point thanks in part to a vocal coach he’s been working with on the tour. The six-piece band, some of which have worked alongside him for years were introduced: Scott Bernard (lead guitar), Rick Cowling (rhythm guitar), Dave Salinas (drums), Scott Sheriff (keyboards), and Justin on saxophone. During a quiet moment after the introductions someone from the audience yelled out ‘DON’T RETIRE’. Kenny questioned what was said and several folks repeated the sentiment. Kenny replied, ‘Oh I thought you said, “You don’t look tired”, he could’t be saying THAT!’ The regular set ended with a pair of songs off 1991’s ‘Leap Of Faith’ album. The first encore a trifecta of songs got everyone on their feet. ‘Im Alright’ kicked it off, ‘Danger Zone’ followed, but when Kenny hit the intro riff from ‘Footloose’ on guitar the place erupted! ‘It’s been a hell of a ride and I’ve appreciated every minute of it’ he reminisced prior to the second encore. It was 1985’s ‘Forever’, the songs lyrics themselves leaving us with a parting message, ‘Forever in my heart, forever here you'll be. Know that when I'm gone, you'll be near to me.’ Loggins was the second yacht rocker I’ve seen LIVE in less than a month with Michael McDonald coming up this Summer. I can say in truth that although musicians of the genre may sail into the sunset, their music will go on forever!” Review and photo by DAve (Concert #780)

The music and performance was great, but the sound out on the lawn was just terrible. I am not sure if Kenny had a control he was stepping on and off or what - but every time he spoke and each following song were nothing but reverb and echo. Couldn’t understand a word he said and the songs were almost unidentifiable. Just a very disappointing night for those of us on the lawn! Money wasted!

As close to perfect as it gets. Kenny Loggins sounds like he did 30 years ago...flawless and magical voice. The crowd was all singing and dancing together and definitely showing their appreciation for the years of entertainment. The show opener was Yacht Rock Revue and it's literally the best 70s performance you could see. I can't even call them a cover band because their show, voices, and performance would easily be welcome in any large venue. If you can't see them live I suggest you watch their performance of 'Baker Street's the saxophonist left me memorized . A show of a lifetime

This was an outstanding night! The venue is the best and the sound quality is amazing!
Kenny played all the hits and had everyone not wanting the night to end since this is his farewell tour.
He is very talented and sounds great! A must see before its too late. We drove from North Alabama to see him and then after the concert booked tickets to see him again in Franklin, Tennessee. We just did not get enough. lol
I highly recommend the Florida Theatre and the top notch acts they book. Box office, staff and concessions are all the best of any venue I have visited. Hannah and Wendy are awesome!

I have seen Kenny Loggins perform many times over the past several decades. The show last night at the Florida theater was by far the best performance ever. I loved that he picked hits & other deep track songs not usually played. His band members were the best of the best & back up vocals a perfect complement to Kenny’s voice & style. He started the show rocking it out with his band performing Keep the Fire. It has been many years of concerts I have attended since he performed Keep the Fire & sang it as his opening. Ending with his signature encore “Forever” that always brings tears to my eyes was the perfect ending to one of the greatest nights of my life. My husband & I also bought tickets to see him on his extended tour in Alpharetta GA. & I can’t wait. Kenny never looked or sounded better than he did last night! Love you Kenny

I think he still enjoys performing and it shows ! Kenny and a 5 pcs band of great players and hand picked for their fitting harmony vocals , any other act would have extra backup singers but his band were such great players and singers you could tell that time was spent picking each one and it worked ! The show was personal , flowed and Kenny kept t interesting too ! I think he actually still enjoys performing and it shows !

Kenny Loggins is the consummate professional entertainer. He sounded fantastic vocally, covered most of his hits and had a tight supporting band. It was particularly interesting to hear stories between songs, in a Q&A led by “The Professor of Rock” Adam Reader. The format was similar to VH-1 Storytellers and one that I loved. I was a little disappointed he didn’t play Playin’ With The Boys and Meet Me Halfway. And the crowd tended to be on the older-to-much older side, so the energy was lacking at times. Otherwise, it was a fantastic show.

Aloha Sir Kenny Loggins.
You know that Officer Bob LeClaire called me from Duluth Police Department as he was concerned about me giving 7an A minus on his February 2020 Report. Shoots he got an A seven years ago when this journey started
The sound WAS screwed up on this gig at the Theatre. Oh well you're still a Superstar!

Kenny Loggins is still in great voice ! Still a beautiful, strong, lush voice; and he still has great control over it. His band sings along with him, and they are good. One of them in particular gave me Steve Perry vibes with his voice. Kenny sang the hits. He didn't sing my favorite (Heart to Heart), but he sounded so good with everything else, i wasn't even mad about it. Nicely paced banter, and a good sing-a-long with the crowd gave a good change of pace. Frankly, he gave a better show than Foreigner did a few weeks back. My one complaint: no merchandise. I came there to give him shirt and keychain money..but there were no shirts or keychains to purchase. Other than that, it was a really, really good show.

Kenny Loggins concert at Choctaw June 23, 2018, was fabulous!! It was well done, well orchestrated. The musicians on stage were great, and their vocals were amazing. Kenny himself was insanely great. We enjoyed his lead-in stories to the songs, and he was much better than he was several years ago at House of Blues in Dallas. His song selections were magnificent, and he struck a perfect balance of slow and fast songs. Kenny Loggins knows his audiences.....ending the concert on last encore with the song Forever was perfection! I had waited for that song all evening. Perfect ending to a perfect concert.
