Dafusia

Known musically as Dafusia, Hari is a music composer and producer from Toronto. A graduate in Music composition and Performance in Jazz piano, Selkirk College, Hari is now actively involved in the music scenes of Toronto and Chennai, India simultaneously. Hari's arrangement of ‘Wat Wat’ in the album ‘Tamasha’ by A.R.Rahman hit the Top 10 on the iTunes charts in India in fall of 2015. With this endorsement and the support from Canadian acts such as Adventure Club, Hari is keen on writing and producing songs that can engage his audience in deep and meaningful ways, whether it’s on the dance floor or inside the sonic landscape of the headphones. Hari’s also been involved in composing music for TV and Film including the pilot for ‘Nirvana The Band The Show’ (TIFF 2016) and ‘Doing Jewish’ (TJIFF 2016).
