Keith Phelps is a visionary who uses his vast creative ability to create powerful content with necessary messages.The rapper, producer, songwriter, composer and musician is a proud native of Indianapolis, IN. He has released 6 projects, including his 2015 appropriately-titled album, REAL.beautiful.MUSiC.

In 2017 he scored his first film A Fatherless Generation directed by filmmaker Nathan Cheney and starring Cheney, George Lopez, Terry Crews and Aisha Tyler. The documentary uncovers the social, psychological and emotional trauma of a young man’s journey growing up without his father.

In August of 2020, Phelps scored a placement in the feature film, Cut Throat City, Directed by RZA of the Wu Tang Clang, and starring Wesley Snipes, Terrence Howard, Ethan Hawke and T.I. The song, “Don’t Trust Banks” produced by Keith Phelps is performed by Anderson Paak and features a killer verse from T.I. Cut Throat City was released in theatres but can now be viewed on Netflix.

The accolades continued to pour in during 2020 as Phelps’ song, “Harlins Renaissance” featured in the short film, “The Dope Years: The Untold Story of Latasha Harlins” received not only critical acclaim but will go down in history as being linked to an Academy Award Winning project. “The Dope Years” was nominated for the Student Academy Awards and became a Silver Medal Winner in the short film category making it immediately eligible for the 2021 Academy Awards.

These days you can find Keith Phelps on tour playing the keyboard alongside R&B legend Patti LaBelle, or in some obscure homemade studio cooking up something for the masses. His genuine respect and love for making good music are well reflected within all of his art and he’s only just begun.
