The Judas Syndrome

Formed in late 2008; New York City based five piece The Judas Syndrome have all the chugging, riffing, melodic and pissed vocals of a modern heavy metal band. The band has performed in several major venues in New York City as well as surrounding Atlantic states. Relentless hand-to-hand promotion as well as internet buzz have earned the band spots opening for national metal acts in New York City such as; As I Lay Dying, Winds of Plague, Despised Icon, After The Burial, Nile, The Acacia Strain, Sworn Enemy, and Your Demise to name a few. The Judas Syndrome with their debut independant release "Underneath Blood Skies" charted at #9 on CMJ Loudrock charts in 2010. The first single "Death of the Soul" was received nationally by radio and the video (co-directed by Dallas Coyle of God Forbid and Director Frankie Nasso) for the single debuted on MTV2 Headbanger's Ball in August 2010. Notably, "Death of the Soul" reached local NYC/NJ area radio station 89.5 WSOU's top 89 for 2010 and was spotlighted on Sirius/XM Liquidmetal radio by director Jose Mangin in the Devilz Dozen for 13 weeks.
