Mit „Queen of Drama“ veröffentlicht die bereits 1992 in einem Münsterländer Hühnerstall gegründete, vielerorts live-erprobte Band Royal Incest jetzt ihren dritten Wechselbalg und wirft ihn in die Rockzirkus-Manege. Die kraftvollen Vocals von Frontmann Johannes Hofmann, heftige Gitarrendruckluft von Karl Funnemann, Claus Stephan und J. Hofmann, die Rhythmus-Sektion um Christoph Linhoff (Bass, Vocs) und Dominik Lenz (Drums), sowie diverse Ecken und Kanten, grosse Emotionen und bisweilen auch getragen daherkommende Melodien machen den facettenreichen, unverwechselbaren Sound des kongenialen Fivepieces aus.
Das neue Studioalbum ist, wie nicht anders zu erwarten, erneut ein kräftiges Omelett aus Grunge, Punk und Indierock. Das musikalische Hauptgericht, das für die Truppe wie gerade gelegte Eier im Stall daherkam, umfasst 9 brandneue, an nur einem Wochenende eingespielte Songs. Diese wurden flugs zur oben erwähnten Eierspeise verkocht und eiskalt auf Tonträger gepresst. Die Alternativerocker freuen sich schon jetzt diebisch, diese Götterspeise möglichst bald dem ausgehungerten Publikum auch live zu kredenzen. Bis dahin sei „Queen of Drama“ allen Royal Incest-Verfallenen schon einmal in fester Form als schwarze oder silberne Scheibe, oder auch digital im Netz, empfohlen.

Founded 1992 near Muenster, North Rhine Westfalia, alternative five piece Royal Incest recently finished their work on the third full length baby „Queen of drama“, to be released on May 21st, 2021.
Nine great brandnew heavy, sometimes elegic or edgy emotional tunes, well cooked by punk & indie rock engineer Gen Skreegl (Addicted to Machines, Slup), have been combined to this outrageous album. The powerful vocals of shouter and guitarist Johannes Hofmann, the heavy steams of the second and third guitar wizards Karl Funnemann and Claus Stephan, the rhythm section around around Christoph Linhoff (bass) and Dominik Lenz (drums) thereby blow the listener away. As far as you cannot see them live right now, the new album is recommended by us as Must have on vinyl or as digital version on CD or download / stream for now. Enjoy…
