Lead Them To The Lake

Lead Them To The Lake is a southern metal/rock band from Alliance, OH. The band is a result of what seemed to be very specific timing for everyone involved. James McAllister and Austin Melaney had been looking to start a band and they wanted to involve their close friend, Tyler Posey. Jon Ruffier had recently moved back to the area to finish his schooling closer to home. James and Jon had spoken several times about playing music together and had even attempted starting a band or two in the past, but nothing ever got very far off the ground. However, this time everything just lined up, by the end of their second practice the group all ready had 3 songs written and were in talks about recording before summer. Later joined Jon's brother, Josh Ruffier, whom took over the rhythm guitar. The band played solid shows for almost a year until they decide to take some time and record a nine track CD entitled, "This Could Save Your Life." After releasing the Debut CD the band took what was almost a year and a half hiatus..They have now decided to pick back up with the addition of Jason Neiswanger on Bass and look to play some shows very soon!!!! Southern Punk-Rock/Metal/Alternative from northeast Ohio.
