DJ Lew has made a name for himself in the Southeast area. Although he's from the small town of Dothan, Alabama, his musical talent as a disc jockey supersedes his southern roots. With the transition from a live guitarist in several bands and the release of their album, The Sound of Sweet Misery with the band MindTrap, he has over 10 years of musical knowledge under his belt. Performing in an open format, his track selection is one of a kind, mixing fresh new tracks at the drop of a hat. His résumé in the music scene is endless, including mobile DJing since 2004, live mix shows for 106.7 KMX, featured on clubleveldjs.com, hosting charity toy drives, performing on the UpRoar RockStar Energy Tour, Club La Vela DJ, headlining for paint parties, and a member of Deftal DJs out of Las Vegas . Also, the latest tour, The More Music Less Drama #ragenaked Tour, formed together by DJ NYU and DJ Lew in mid-2013, has become one of the hottest up and coming annual tours in the Southeast. DJ Lew has played alongside the likes of national recording artists Nappy Roots & MTV’s DJ Scribble as well as a repertoire of DJs in the Southeast from VH1's Brain Dawe (Las Vegas, NV) Playboy's DJ KayJay (Baltimore, MD) DJ NYU (Panama City Beach, FL), DvDJ Doc Roc (Destin, FL), DJ Hyphee (Biloxi, MS), DJ ProtoJ (Tuscaloosa, AL), DJ Boom (Destin, FL), DvDJ Reign (Jackson, MS) and many, many more. He was invited to join Deftal DJs in 2013, one of the largest DJ agencies based out of the West Coast in 2013. With that impressive background, it seems as if DJ Lew can do it all. DJ Lew has become a household name in the underground music scene, always releasing new mix tapes for his dedicated fans. His live shows are a high-energy experience from start to finish.
