Excellent concert with influences by The Allman Brothers band could be clearly heard, albeit with original songs by Duane Betts and band members (Palmetto Motel). A couple a great covers of some Allman Brothers tunes as well.

Excellent SOLD OUT show! Acoustics were great. Not a bad seat in the house. So good to hear Duane play some of Dad's songs. Wild and Precious Life is awesome! He was even kind enough to sign autographs and pose for pictures after the show.

Albeit nothing beats hearing ABB hits - ALLMAN BETTS playing their own tunes was the highlight in my book- so tight and crisp and perfected. If they were to ever ask the audience for a request- it would be that Duane Betts sings the song by his father "SAIL AWAY," from the ABB Enlightened Rogues album. When the song DREAMS came about, I saw a few people wiping the tears off their faces- that 20-minute jam put us all in a coma. This band is worth seeing over and over- traveling to venues where can. Even though Jimmy Hall will be joining them for the Family Revival Tour and not present in Honolulu, I myself could not keep from smilin' the whole show. Ten stars out of ten stars it was.

The show was great. There was nice energy and the sound was wonderful. The Homer Center for the Arts venue is super small holding only 400 people and makes for a very intimate setting. I've seen the Allman Brothers way back decades ago, and I've seen Duane with the Allman Betts band. This night he showed how he has taken his father's style of music and made it his own. I find the sound on his albums to be one I really like to listen to. Live he added some nice twists to a few. As someone who also plays guitar, it just makes it fun to listen to. I like watching when they improvise to see how and where they are going with a song, and then how they know the cues for when to bring it back. It just makes me smile inside. You might say that Duane's songs and his playing style allow a listener to either sit back and take it all in, or you can listen intently to follow the melody and appreciate how it all fits together. Additionally, for those who haven't seen the rest of his band, his fellow guitarist Johnny Stachella is a truly outstanding musician who has mastered the use of the slide in the style of Duane Allman. Pedro Arevalo on bass guitar is a joy to watch. His energy and playing style involving using a pick, finger picking, and strumming all in sequence gives a really great sound. Vince Fossett on the drums has all the tricks needed. His keyboard player this night, Max was right on the spot with the sound and the solos. He fit in just great. I wish Duane the best and look forward to the next show!

The band plays really well! I usually see Duane in small venues in the Sarasota area. He really surprised me last night! He was in control, played really different and really well. Johnny Stachela is amongst the best slide players on the planet. Devon was not as prevalent on electric guitar since he plays acoustic on some of his dad’s songs. A good mix of songs. Some ABB songs, some covers some of their own. and all

Duane Betts was a super excellent show and exceeded expectations!! I go back to the days of listening to his father, and Duane gave me the same pleasure....and brought back some great memories! Second guitar slide work was outstanding. The band was really good all around and having Eric Lindell on keys a big bonus! Harlow's was also incredible....good view and great sound went along with excellent staff. Don't miss Duane!!!

And to think I almost bailed on this show because the weather was wet and chilly. Thank goodness I didn't! This was a CRAZY good show! The Cordovas opened the night with a great set that really set up the evening. I don't know anything about them, but I will look into them as they were excellent! Besides being very tight, they were also jammy, and their vocals were superb with some fabulous harmonies. Duane's band stage set up looked exactly like the original Allman Brothers Band with two guitars, bass, keyboards and two drummers. Turns out, Tyler 'Falcon' Greenwell sat in tomight! You'd think he and Duane's drummer had played together for years! Very Tedeschi Trucks Band-like. He not only looks like his Dad to a T; however, he even sounds like him. His new album has some great original material. Duane's songwriting is really coming into its own. I love Duane's lead playing, and he's really established himself as solid lead player. I think the stand-out for me was Johnny Stachela, Duane's foil on twin lead and slide. I was really impressed with Johnny's slide playing! He's got fabulous technique and is precise, soulful, yet capable of exploding into the stratesphere. The whole evening was fabulous!

This young man is the spitting image of his father, Mr. Dickey Betts. They put on a good show in spite of his Voice Not being a 100%. He is surrounded by some very talented musicians And we will continue to Follow and watch their rise to fame. It was my first trip to Tuffy's music box in Sanford, what a terrific venue. Can't wait to go back and see more live shows.

I was at Tuffy's music box October 10th to see Duane Betts. I like the venue it was a little loud but maybe I'm too old and it was a little cold inside the building but maybe I'm a little too old I did like they're outside lawn/yard setting. The show was amazing the opening band Tuesday night something sorry I don't remember but they were talented the sound was real good. Second band a little more refined but just as well a good band and Duane Betts,forget about it, it was really good. we'll try to go back and see more shows at this place. Oh sorry I really wish they would have had more choice for eats. They had a food trailer I'm sorry I can't remember the name it was all right but needed a better selection bigger selection.

Great venue. Intimate and packed pretty full. Duane is playing a lot of his new record which has some great writing and composition. Of course the allmans oldies got sprinkled in for the old timers. Fun show. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Incredible night of music . Started off with Duane Betts & Johnny Stachela doing acoustic / electric set . Loved hearing " Sweet Virginia , " especially Johnny Stachela's slide playing ( which was wonderful all night ) ! The Cordovas - a " country / rock " band from Nashville - were far more than just a supporting act . Really got the crowd worked up !! Duane Betts & Johnny Stachela came on after Cordovas , and played a sort of jam ( w/ Cordovas ) . Great set of Allman Brothers tunes - Statesboro Blues , Blue Sky & Elizabeth Reid . See these guys - they are a live band !!!

Great intimate show with a nice mix of new songs from Duane and a few old ABB tunes like Blue Sky. The band rocked us for 2 hours of great guitars jamming out. Duane signed shirts for us and we hope to see him again soon. Come back to the Cutting Room please.

Concert was very good! Enjoyed the first band as well. Many great artists were brought on stage to play. The ladies were awesome! The venue was nice, chairs were comfortable but very little leg room. Overall a great experience!

What an amazing show! Duane proved yet again that he's more than capable of making it without riding his dad's coattail. Same with Berry Duane Oakley, who did his late father proud killing it on the bass as always. Johnny and Cody were equally as impressive. After the show Duane was at the merchandise booth meeting fans. He was really kind and it was a pleasure meeting him.

Always the best. These are my go to guitar and keyboard guys .Always get to their shows or every once in a while buy tickets to show my support even if I can't make it .

Great show!! Duane Betts does an incredible job of honoring the past while moving into the future!! Covering some of his father's best songs, Blue Sky and Jessica to a brand new song from his upcoming album and everything in-between. Supported by another son of a founding member of the ABB, Barry Oakley Jr, the band was tight. One of the best performances that I've had the pleasure to watch!!!

LONG POST: As we were driving to the event, (my husband driving), I read the reviews on the service at the Winery. We had a two hour drive and we almost turned around after some of the comments. I'm so glad we went. I'm not sure about some of the comments, I think people are to judgmental. I was confused about ordering food, reviews were hard to understand. There was not a problem to order food or drinks when your seated, normal food menu, wine, beer, mixed drinks. The service was great, the food was great, our food and drinks were brought out in great time. Seating is not as crowed as it written about. There isn't a problem about getting up and to restrooms during concert. We had a nice couple at our table. The gentleman that was our host, he wasn't a server, but made sure during the night everything was okay and if anyone needed anything was great. I had a problem with my credit card scanning the menu code and he was great helping me order. We love to watch Duane , Johnny and Barry. I would love to go to one of their Florida shows and see them when Dicky Betts is there. We got to see him with them in Macon a few years ago, it was great. They are great together. Every seat is good, the venue and workers couldn't have been nicer. We are an older couple used to paying with "real money", everything is credit card. LOL you could tell we were country, but that was okay, got to learn a few new things!!

We were lucky enough to be entertained by not one but two great opening acts that did meet and greets afterwards. The Duane Betts band rocked the house with not only some of their own music but did great renditions of The Allman Brothers Band hits.

Absolutely fantastic show at the Englert Tuesday night. Duane Betts and the Allman Betts Band was tight and threw in a great variety of music in the repertoire. I’d suggest seeing the ABB and Duane every chance that you can.
