Michael Franti & Spearhead

Michael is always one of our favorites. He puts so much love and passion into what he does and it doesn’t go unnoticed. The energy he brings to every show is infectious. We will continue to go every time he comes to town to soak in all of the positive vibes and amazing music!

Great as ever, really feel good vibe show They’ve changed alot over the years, was mostly about the music when we first saw them 12 or so years ago, now I would say it’s more about the message. SOJA was really good will try to catch them anytime they’re anywhere around!

Michael Franti is such a dynamic entertainer. He went all over the venue (into both upper levels, and into the GA crowd multiple times) , told personal stories, and got the crowd to meet each other. It was such a positive show!!

Michael was a wonderful entertainer. His energy level was through the roof and he obviously loves everyone. This is a great vibe show much love. He goes out into the audience to perform and get close several times. To cap it off he brings up a family and has them sing with him. Wonderful messages in his music.

An absolutely amazing concert! Michael Franti is an amazing talent. He is soulful, relatable, talented, and his heart radiates nothing but goodness and spirituality. I’ve always loved his music and now can say this rivals some best shows I’ve ever seen (that includes the Stones in ‘71)! The Utepils Brewery is a great venue.

Amazing is all I can say, a smaller club and made every one a part of the show. He got off the stage, went in to the crowd multiple times, upstairs in the balconies. He made me a fan for life.

I've followed Michael Franti since the days of the Disposable Heroes and it's been amazing to watch him mature and grow. The show last night was everything you could hope for. Instead of doing a fake off the stage and come back for an encore, he played until it was time to be done, then hung out and talked to people and took selfies before grabbing a guitar for a little acoustic set for the 50 or so people who were still around. Then, he hung out for awhile longer. After the last couple years, this was exactly the show I needed.

We don’t mind, see we’ve been doin’ all the time. Just don’t ask me to square dance😊. Excellent show & crowd. Michael always brings the heat. Grinders is a good place to see a show. P.S. Always good advice from Michael. I enjoyed our conversation immensely.

One of the most interactive performers in the country, Michael’s positive music and his willingness to give the whole crowd a front row seat makes him and his amazing band leave a lasting impression. His music is the perfect prescription for a sometimes less than positive world!

There were technical issues on the livestream, things happen! but they made it available for replay and it was worth the wait. So joyful, such wonderful energy, great musicians and such fun dancers. I needed some rejuvenation, and this show was the medicine. THANK YOU!!

This was my daughters first concert and my first time ever going to see Michael franti / Spearhead. It is truly one of the most amazing performances as Michael franti really gets the crowd going and energetic and is very personal with everyone

It was a great concert. Franti didn't invite all of the kids up on stage which was super disappointing to our kids, but I don't feel like it was his choice? Maybe the venue was too small.

Michael spreads the love like no other. Down in the audience, singing and groovin’, sharing the microphone, empowering the kids, hugging and dancing with as many fans as possible... all the while reeling out righteous song after righteous song. My favorite fusion hiphopper ever.

They played a different set from Friday night. Even went back to the rebellious days with Yell Fire. Loved the Glide Memorial choir, they brought a fantastic spirt to the room. The good Reverend can really dance. I’m gonna miss Victoria Canal. I’d like to wish her good luck on her new album.

Always, always puts on a great show. Michael Is an amazing person and has such a great big heart. I love that he does a preshow yoga class before most of his shows. I wish more performers were like him-using this platform to spread messages and love and peace.

Absolutely amazing!!!! I’ve Michael before but I was blown away by how positive and uplifting he is. I feel that, in the world we live in today, we don’t see enough joy in our music. He brings this plus so much more. I can’t wait for him to come back. I woke up this morning refreshed and ready to make some changes in my life. Me and my wife love you Michael and we want only the best for you and your family. Peace and love.

Michael is nothing shy of extraordinary! The positivity and energy he emits is something that is so lost in the world today but seems so easy and genuine coming from him. He definitely knows how to work a crowd and is a phenomenal story teller. I was beyond fortunate to be led on stage by him and share that space with him and his amazing musicians. Even more impressive it was for a song that truly resonates with me. That moment, and the whole experience, is something I will truly never forget! Michael, if you read these, I want to sincerely thank you. You honestly have no idea what being at your show, and especially those moments on stage, meant to me...absolutely surreal. You are really something. Keep doing you! I am still feeling all the feels today!🎪🎤💕

I’ve been fortunate enough to see Michael a few times and I have never been disappointed. What an amazing performer and kind man. The energy in the concert hall (Rialto) in Tucson was contagious!! Victoria Canal has the voice of an angel...hope he comes to Tucson more often.

One of the most positive uplifting jams I've been to. And that beautiful woman on the ukulele had that solo where she blended what sounded like stairway to heaven, fur Elise, and Spanish caravan that was wonderful. Also the Venezuelan group had a powerful sound. Fun having been near one of his mid-crowd platforms where he performed his song summertime in our hands.

In a word....MEMORIZING! I've been a fan of his for several years now. It never had the chance to see him live. I made sure to get there early so I could be front and center. I didn't want to miss anything. Can't wait to see him play on Charlotte again.
