Joseph Parsons

Das Konzert war für mich jedenfalls ein Highlight. Es ist immer wieder schön ihn authentisch zu sehen.

Great space. Great show! Joseph Parsons is an incredibly talented and versatile artist. Over the decades, he has cultivated an amazing relationship with some of the areas best singer songwriters and the result was a show packed with emotion, energy and talented guest artists. A must see!

Joseph started his 2023 tour of solo concerts in the intimate setting of an old German farm house and museum. The set started in a moderate mood, it felt like the artist needed some time to warm up after the long Corona break. Then „Bookshop Mary“ marked the first peak, a song from his recent album „Holy Loneliness Divine“. This album indeed provided the most intense moments of Joseph‘s performance, but there were many more highlights in the two long sets of this evening. Joseph‘s voice was in good shape, accompanied by only one acoustic guitar, but with various strumming and finger pickings styles. ( The second guitar in open tuning did not get into action but in the encore, where the artist showed off his marvellous guitar skills.) I was glad to be one of the lucky few who Fouls experience such a satisfying evening of fine songcraft and passionate musicianship. Don‘t miss it.
