Kizzy Crawford

Kizzy Crawford is a South Wales-based singer-songwriter and producer known for blending jazz, folk, and funk. She began producing music at 14, experimenting with loop pedals, various instruments and recording software. While her sound has evolved, it still reflects the styles and intentions that have defined her music from the beginning.
Her debut album, The Way I Dream, co-produced with Willie Weeks and released by Freestyle Records, was followed by two self-produced Welsh-language albums, Cariad y Tir and Rhydd, released with Sain Records and she has collaborated with various artists on music releases, including Gwilym Simcock for Can yr Adar (Birdsong) which toured with Sinfonia Cymru.
She has performed at many renowned events and festivals including the London Jazz Festival, Glastonbury and The Great Escape, and her music has received airplay from BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio 2, 6 Music, Jazz FM and more. Kizzy has also created bespoke work for theatre, TV and radio, including the soundtrack for the BBC Sounds show 'June: Voice of a Silent Twin'. In addition to her music, she has acting experience in theatre and TV including the title role in the award winning ‘Petula’ for National Theatre Wales. Kizzy continues to work on new music and explore creative projects that reflect her journey as an artist.
