She was great but performed for over an hour. When she was done the rain started so we didn’t get to hear any of Dwight’s songs.

Got to see Emmylou, but the t storms chased us away before Dwight Yokum. She sounded strong, and her band was great

It was actually held at the Meritage Resort which was a great venue- Not too large and a great outdoor facility. Loved Emmy Lou!

Wonderful night at the wonderful old/new Longhorn Ballroom! They’ve done a fantastic job with the renovation. Not a bad seat in the house!

Amazing show by Emmylou and the red dirt boys. The Longhorn is a first class venue.

This is her annual fundraiser for her dog rescue. Always a pleasure to hear the songwriting stories and anecdotes.

Not sure if it was the sound system, or the venue, but we couldn’t understand a lot of what she said when she was talking to the audience.

Emmylou is a godsend. Her voice is a crisp last night as it was in 1978.

Wonderful venue for a concert…some songs were hard to understand words but Emmylou has not lost her magic!

Being accustomed to such thighs bands from The Hot Band to Nash Ramblers and The Wrecking Ball Trio, I found last night’s Red Dirt Boys unrehearsed and out of sink, the keyboardist often looking at the drummer’s mouth agape and looking down at the set list as if uncertain about which song Emmy was singing, and Tammy Rogers muffing her mandolin parts, and Steve Fishell trying to find a place to squeeze in a break. And Emmy, bless her heart whiffing on falsettos. Still the crowd loves her and was forgiving. But that doesn’t squelch my objectivity. Disappointing.

Emmylou Harris is approaching her 75th birthday and her 50th year in the music business. She is not an unknown quantity. She no longer has full voice and struggles with the high notes. No matter - she brings her heart, her wit, her talent, and her ability to draw the best musicians in the business to travel the road with her. I couldn't give you names, but five musicians included bass, drums, lead guitar, multi-player one on keys, guitar, accordion, percussion, and multi-player two on mandolin and fiddle. She covered the complete range of her catalog - Two More Bottles of Wine, Luxury Liner, Poncho and Lefty, Boulder to Birmingham, Together Again, Wheels, Ooh Las Vegas from her early years; Save the Last Dance, Green Pastures, Rose of Cimarron, Get Up John from her middle period; Red Dirt Girl, O Evangeline, Gulf Coast Highway from her more recent works, plus a Merle Haggard cover were some of her playlist, were enough to keep everyone satisfied and on their feet often. That's not a complete set list nor in order of the performance, just from my memory. She was on stage for about two hours, and graciously she and the band didn't even completely leave the stage but stayed out of the lights for about a minute before coming back for the two-song encore. There isn't an album to support - I think she just wanted back on the road where she's lived for nearly five decades. The crowd ate it up and gave her plenty of love in return.

Excellent Excellent Show for a wonderful organization. Idk why it won’t let me give a five star rating, but it was five stars all the way and more. Looking forward to attending next year too :)

Beautiful venue. Emmylou put on a great show. Band was great. I hope I have half her energy when I’m 74.

Emmylou is still beautiful and sounds wonderful! Glad to know she is still working to better the world on many fronts!

a bit too loud, but music was good. one unnecessary political statement made considering it was a charity event, but a terrific artist and overall enjoyable and a good cause.

Her band was very talented. They played a lot of old favorites and she can still harmonize beautifully. It was also a benefit for Bonaparte's Retreat Dog Rescue. I didn't realize it was the first concert at this Venue, food was decent. Sitting a little tight. Played for 1-1/2 hours complete with encore. Very enjoyable.

Such an honor to be present in this theater...every artist committed to making it meaningful for Joni. I’ll never forget it. One of the top shows of my life. ♥️

Great performance for an important cause. So glad to have been there. In this intimate setting, Emmylou still sings like an angel; guess I've been enjoying her shows for 30+ years and records, 40+. Perfect.
