About Citoyens
Citoyens is an electronic artist from New Orleans, Louisiana, US. His musical style is characterized by heavily compressed drums, glitchy buzzsaw bass riffs, and truncated samples, often juxtaposed with complex melodies which develop throughout the course of the song. His influences include Daft Punk, Justice, Boys Noize, and SebastiAn, yet in his musical style he pays homage to the Industrial movement of the 70's and 80's and its iconic figures (Suicide, Cabaret Voltaire, and others).
