Last Of The Barstools

Last of the Barstools are a London based indie/folk band. They write character based songs, rich with harmonies and delicate instrumentation. Their lyrics, both poignant and cinematic have vocal lines shared by chief songwriter Mark Kavanagh and partner Laura Davies, allowing the characters and each story to unfold. The bands live arrangements are diverse and imaginative, drawing influences from Leanard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen to Bright Eyes, The National, and Arcade Fire. Their live shows have received some wonderful reviews in recent months and they have amassed a passionate and growing fan base in a remarkably short period of time. Their debut single ‘Don't Let the Bad Guys Win’ will be released on 11th November and available to purchase on all major digital outlets. The song tells is a poignant story of a couple struggling to keep their dreams alive in the midst of mounting financial pressure.
