I’ve been listening to this band since 2019. Finally had an opportunity to see them and they did not disappoint. Amazing performance and stage presence, Amy (lead singer) sounds just as good live as on their recordings.

Discovered their newest EP about a month before the show. Live performance did not disappoint. Excited for them to be back in October.

Show was amazing, band members were at their booth and equally awesome. Come to adore their music and hope they can make it back to MN soon!

About Like Roses

Berkeley, California’s Like Roses is a force to be reckoned with. Singer/rhythm guitarist Amy Schmalkuche’s gritty, yet melodic vocals divulge confessional lyrics that explore themes of heartache, loss, and introspection, while the music — aided by lead guitarist Devin Zamora, bassist Kayla Gonzalez, and drummer Aaron Seminoff — channels the raw emo/pop-punk energy that compels you to jump into a crowded room and scream along at one of the band’s raucous shows.

Throughout two EPs and a few singles, Like Roses has amassed millions of streams from fans around the world, with their 2023 breakout song “Easy” having more than 1.1 million streams on Spotify. Since then, the band has been touring across the United States, and will be featured on the 2024 Sad Summer Festival with Mayday Parade, The Maine, The Wonder Years, Real Friends, and more. They recently went into the studio with former Taking Back Sunday guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino, who recorded their latest single “Broken Things (Lie to Me)."
