Inspired by artists as diverse as The 1975 and John Mayer, Jerwood has developed a wide musical palette that he ties together with his breathy vocals at centre stage. Of Welsh and Kiwi descent this London-based artist has toured the UK and Europe alongside numerous pop-songwriters such as Dodie (in Greta Isaac’s band) and Hannah Grace among others. Love of both traditional guitar approaches and more synth-based sounds help to define Jerwood’s original creative pursuit. His debut single ‘To New York’ leads the charge as Jerwood gives us the first taste of this new direction. Expect nostalgic lyrics and a healthy dose of heartbreak. “In my teens and early 20’s I didn’t know who I was and why I was doing what I was doing. Music really helped me figure that stuff out, and these songs in particular feel like a really solid representation of me.”
