Zee

Hailing from Beirut, Lebanon, ZEE Karkabi is an
artist with unique vision and long-standing success.
He started his musical career by forming
the band Linger in 1999, which cemented
him in the local music scene and grew increasingly
popular over many years.
After a brief hiatus, he returned in 2012,
taking the country by storm with his solo acoustic gigs.

A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and producer,
he then dedicated two years to creating a complete
musical venture, a much awaited album EP he called
is.it.time:yet?

Karkabi’s flair is in his ability to adapt
his skills to whatever concept
he has in mind. His voice can go from deep,
crunchy and harsh, to clean, almost haunting falsettos.
When this veteran sets out to
reproduce a specific sound, he uses
synthesizers and incorporates
different genres, blending elements of classical music,
trip-hop, and rock. The outcome is a
signature beautiful, melancholic, and
immersive experience.
