About Devour the fetus
Contact/Booking : devourthefetus@gmail.com
Devour The Fetus was created in Paris in 2011. The original recipe of cooking up together heavy slam riffs with a pinch of groove quickly gave birth to a few demo records and concerts, and before long the first full length album Cook’n’Roll (2014) was released, propelling the band on stage all over Europe.
The second album, Traumatic Birth Delights (2019) initiated a turn towards a darker and more brutal atmosphere, using the powerful production from Demigod Recordings (Analepsy, Pyrexia, Organectomy, …) to serve a more modern Slamming Brutal Death.
In 2023, they experimented with a more organic sounding, raw brutal death metal in the EP Ocean of Putrid Feti, giving a clear signal : leaving all jokes behind to create a universe even darker, faster and more brutal, taking inspirations from Defeated Sanity, Disentomb, Abominable Putridity and the like. This will be the direction taken by the upcoming album, being recorded in 2025.
These records as well as exclusive songs from the future release were played live in more than 10 countries throughout Europe, on stages such as Deathfeast, Rock The Hell, Fleshparty, Nice To Eat You Deathfest, …
