About K-Bust
K-Bust is a Canadian Electro-pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born
to Chilean parents in the city of Valparaiso. After spending part of her life in Chile, she
moves to Montreal, Canada, where she’s pursuing her music career.
At a young age, she makes her debut in the local scene of Montreal and then in
Toronto, performing at several festivals and live music events, sharing the stage with
a great range of Pop music exponents, having even the opportunity to open for a very
popular Chilean rock band named "Los Prisioneros", who happened to be touring
throughout North America. A couple years later, she collaborates with Benoît Jutras,
notorious author/composer of the "Cirque du Soleil", recording one of his songs in
studio for the show of Franco Dragone, in Macau. Furthermore, she also shares the
stage with her "Mentor" Alan Prater, a former Michael Jackson musician and back-up
vocalist.
It’s by the end of 2009 that she begins to work on her first studio album. She then
joins forces with Sonny Black, a well-known producer of the Montreal Pop scene,
working side by side on the 11 songs that would later become part of her debut
album in 2012; "Urban Stories".
She's currently working on the release of her second studio album titled "Fearless",
which has been produced entirely by Albert Chambers, a Juno award nominated
music producer from Montreal.
