Producer/DJ - Rhythmstar is a specialist in Global Bass Music. Currently he is based out of The City of Angels, with roots planted deep in the jungles of Hawaii where he lived for over a decade. His sounds transport dancers across the Transnational landscape, through psychedelic bass music and boundary pushing subsonic polyrhythms. Performances have taken him across the US, playing clubs and festivals- that include the recent Cosmic Convergence Festival in Lake Atitlan Guatemala alongside Kalya Scintilla back to back on NYE, The Symbiosis Gathering of 2013, the Arise Music Festival, SXSW, and also The Hawaii Electronic Music Festival of the Big Island. He has supported artists such as: Bassnectar/ Ooah /Eprom/ David Starfire/Ana Sia/ Ill Gates and Thriftworks, as well as embarking on several headlining tours of his own. His newest EP on Street Ritual Records: Kissed By Fire has taken him to Oakland/SF/Nevada City/Santa Monica/Venice/Honolulu/Maui/and Brooklyn. His sound is unlike anyone else - It inspires a dance floor of seduction, revolution and spiritual warriorship through Hip Hop/Drum and Bass/Footwork/Cumbia/ZoukBass/Tribal Fusion/ and Burlesque, all seamlessly blended into a an electronic symphony that keeps the dancefloor activated with heart centered frequencies while shaking its soul to the core TransNational, OmniTempo, Cinematic, Future Soul Music
