Indianic

Indianic formed in early 2011 with several members from the Indie band "The Undecided" and frontman from "Dead Rockers Society". The word Indianic came from a song by Steve Houldsworth called "The Indianic Sounds of Captain Spinex" an Indie favourite still played at our gigs - Indianic was a made up name derived from the word "Indie" but also has a joint meaning with Indica” and “Anicca” two ancient words. All band members are from in and around the Leeds Bradford area of West Yorkshire (UK) and have been inspired by bands such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Doors, Lead Zeppelin, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Stone Roses, Nirvana, Oasis, Kasabian and The Black Keys to name but a few.
