About BoyMeetsWorld

BoyMeetsWorld. A band that is doing just what it's name exemplifies. Inspired by singer, Craig Sulken's journey to pursue other options outside of music at first, the name became more fitting than they'd ever imagined. After leaving his brother, now bandmate, and friends thousands of miles behind to attend college in Florida, Craig soon realized his path had to involve music. Instead of taking the route laid out in front of him, his own happiness and musical itch prevailed and brought him back to his roots of Cincinnati, OH to start a musical adventure of his own. After facing the world one on one, he knew he couldn't do it alone. Adding in twin, Ryan Sulken on drums, along with friends, Drew Richter and Drew Thomason on guitar, BoyMeetsWorld took full flight. The foursome are out to embody their message and encourage others through their music as they too have faced some of life's tough decisions and overcame them, making their relatability to their fans truly something special. Boosting with lyrical content that can connect with any listener and make them feel as if the song was written singlehandedly for them, it's also their impeccable mix of hooks and melodies amongst soaring guitars and breakdowns that leaves you with a lasting impression. If their music alone isn't enough for you, it's their live performance that will seal the deal. BMW always likes to give their fans a little something extra at their shows. Incorporating fun intros, contagious covers and infectiously high energy is just part of the entertainment. Showering their fans with confetti, balloons, snow, presents, or wowing them with fireworks at outdoor amphitheaters, is how they continuously push themselves in their live production. Not to mention the frontman's well-known thrilling antics of dangerously hanging atop stages or ceilings that only epic pictures or YouTube captures could do justice at proving the impossible awesomeness one witness' while watching their set. It's not hard to recognize their drive to succeed and the impact they are making on their widely versatile fanbase. With a debut EP, "Do What's Best For You," an entire Christmas album, "Merry Christmas, Ya Filthy Animal…," and their debut full-length, "Become Someone," BMW focuses on keeping it fresh and is always giving their followers something new to keep them satisfied. After winning over their hometown and then some, the band is spreading their music to their ever-growing fanbase. Multiple headlining tours under their belt, along with playing big gigs like the reputable MidPoint Music Festival, the largest college festival, CollegeFest, So What?! Music Festival and SXSW just to name a few, the world is finally getting a taste of BoyMeetsWorld. And they can't get enough. Following their performance on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour Cincinnati date, the band was invited back to the tour, but this time for the entire lag of the prestigious punk rock festival. The band was the official 2014 catering band of the tour and played select dates in return. Having the summer they couldn't dare to dream of, the four-piece were presented the chance to showcase their talent to the largest summer touring music festival. BMW spent the whole summer (again) on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour as a performer, a spot they so gratefully earned and were a true breakout artist rocking the Ernie Ball stage. 2015 was surely one for the books, and the opportunities seem endless at this point for BoyMeetsWorld and they want you to be a part of the ride. Starting off the new year strong this spring by playing multiple (sold out!) dates on the American Lines Tour alongside pop-rock scene heavy hitters, Mayday Parade and The Maine. Look for the band to continue to dominate 2016. Pop Rock band out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our debut album "Become Someone" is available on iTunes.
