Since meeting while on the same music course at college, Matt and Joe, better known as Document One, have dedicated over a decade to their musical careers. The duo have cultivated an instantly recognisable fusion of Jazz and Drum & Bass within the scene, blending relentless deep Neurofunk with heightened cinematic allure. The duo constantly display their musical dexterity - Joe’s passion for Jazz and piano, as well as electronic music, and Matt’s multi instrumentalist prowess.

Document One have risen rapidly within the Drum & Bass scene, working with and gaining notable recognition and support from industry heavyweights along the way. The duo have released on Technique Recordings, RAM Records and Shogun Audio, as well as featuring on the forth-coming FabricLive: 98 mixed by Dimension. The duo have a diverse remix catalogue, having worked their magic for the likes of Moby, Skepta, and more recently Camo and Crooked in 2017, not to mention massive colabs with Joe Ford, and DC Breaks among others.

Document One have received widespread support on the airwaves with features, interviews and guest mixes for Friction, Annie Nightingale, and MistaJam from the BBC Radio 1 camp, and also airtime on Beats 1, Kiss, XFM, and Noisia Radio. Rapidly gaining critical acclaim within the scene, Document One have been advocated by UKF, Mixmag and DJ Mag due to repeat appearances at the top of Drum & Bass charts, providing intoxicating DJ sets, and continuing to develop their unique sound. The duo are with no surprise, securing their place in the next generation of internationally renowned Drum and Bass producers.
